Jacquet's erosive dermatitis (JED) is a severe irritant dermatitis characterized by erosive genital and perianal lesions, often misdiagnosed due to overlapping clinical features. This case report presents two adult cases of JED with distinct clinical and dermoscopic findings. Dermoscopy revealed a characteristic polymorphic vascular pattern, including short linear, curved, coiled, dotted, and globular vessels, aiding in the diagnosis and differentiation from similar conditions.

The peptidoglycan manifests as a multifaceted component of the bacterial cell wall. Throughout the lifecycle of the bacterium, the peptidoglycan is deconstructed, rebuilt, and remodeled for bacterial cell growth and replication. Degradation products of the peptidoglycan serve as precursors for cell-wall building blocks via recycling processes and as signaling molecules.

Background/objectives: Telenutrition has been reported to enable dietitians to support outpatients remotely in an accessible and convenient state. The literature shows that both telemonitoring and health coaching are effective approaches for achieving a greater impact on weight loss and the client's compliance with their diet. The purpose of the present study was to assess the impact of a telenutrition weight loss program on weight reduction, supported with telemonitoring and health coaching.

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common conditions in the United States. Dysfunctional patterns of the erector spinae (ES) and gluteus medius (GM) muscles often accompany episodes of LBP.
Objectives: To evaluate the intra-rater reliability of rehabilitative ultrasound imaging (RUSI) in obtaining thickness measurements of the ES and GM muscles at rest and during submaximal contraction.

Transplantation of ex vivo engineered hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) can lead to robust clinical responses but carries risks of adverse events from bone marrow mobilization, chemotherapy conditioning and other factors. HSCs have been modified in vivo using lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) decorated with targeting moieties, which increases manufacturing complexity. Here we screen 105 LNPs without targeting ligands for effective homing to the bone marrow in mouse.

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychiatric disorder with defining abnormalities in memory, and psychedelics may be promising candidates for the treatment of PTSD given their effects on multiple memory systems. Most PTSD and psychedelic research has investigated memory with fear conditioning and extinction. While fruitful, conditioning and extinction provide a limited model of the complexity of PTSD and phenomenology of psychedelics, thereby limiting the refinement of therapies.

Background: Nurses play a critical role in supporting patients in self-managing their indwelling urinary catheters and preventing avoidable hospital presentations. This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of a co-designed educational approach developed to enhance nurses' ability to provide optimal care for patients with catheters.
Aim: The primary aim of this study was to enhance nurses' knowledge and skills in urinary catheterisation, care, and management.

Purpose: Pre-operative fourth ventricle roof angle (FVRA) has recently been highlighted as a novel radiographic predictor of clinical severity in Chiari type-I malformation (CM-I) as reported by Seaman et al. (J Neurosurg Pediatr 25:1-8, 2021). This has led to suggestions that FVRA could be included in algorithms to determine indications for surgery.

Background: Recent photon-counting computed tomography (PCCT) development brings great opportunities for plaque characterization with much-improved spatial resolution and spectral imaging capability. While existing coronary plaque PCCT imaging results are based on CZT- or CdTe-materials detectors, deep-silicon photon-counting detectors offer unique performance characteristics and promise distinct imaging capabilities.
Purpose: This study aims to numerically investigate the feasibility of characterizing plaques with a deep-silicon PCCT scanner and to demonstrate its potential performance advantages over traditional CT scanners using energy-integrating detectors (EID).

Aim: To develop and test the psychometric properties of a self-administered scale to assess the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviour of nurses to support the self-management of patients living with indwelling urinary catheters.
Background: Nurses are pivotal in supporting patients with urinary catheter self-management to prevent potentially avoidable hospital presentations. However, no validated scale is available to assess nurses' attitudes and readiness for this task.

Introduction: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has dramatically changed the approach to treating aortic stenosis, particularly for patients unsuitable for surgical aortic valve replacement. Nevertheless, the possibility of quick deterioration of kidney function, known as acute kidney injury (AKI), post operation is considered one of the complications.
Objectives: The study aimed to determine the incidence of AKI in adults post TAVI.
