Background: The present study aimed to determine the rate of vitamin D deficiency in children who presented to the pediatric endocrinology outpatient clinic in Bolu and to investigate the factors affecting vitamin D levels.

Methods: Vitamin D levels of 1008 children and adolescents were retrospectively analyzed according to age group (0-1, 1-10, and 10-18 years), gender, season, month, obesity and other diseases, and deficiency category. Moreover, calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, and parathyroid hormone levels were evaluated.

The aim of the study was to reveal the epidemiological characteristics and clinical course of burn patients who were hospitalized in our burn center between 2015 and 2020 and to compare the results between nationalities. The data were retrospectively evaluated in terms of age, gender, time of admission, the total body surface area burned, the degree of burn, the accident location, the presence of wound infection, surgical intervention, length of hospital stay, mortality, educational status of the parents, and nationality; 59.8% of 1496 cases were male, mean age was 40.

Introduction: It has been theorized that endophenotype models will help to understand the etiology of heterogeneous brain disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In this study, it was aimed to determine whether "situational awareness" impairments which can be defined as partially naturalistic working memory deficits, are an endofenotype for OCD.

Methods: In this study, situational awareness (SA) task performances of 67 OCD patients, 50 their unaffected first-degree relatives, and 41 healthy controls who matched with regard to sex, age and years of education were measured to investigate endophenotypes in OCD.

Objective: The aim of this report is to emphasize the importance of thrombolytic therapy in selected patients, such as those with congenital heart defects in whom a coronary artery anomaly can be observed.

Case Report: We present here a 63 year-old female patient who was admitted to our emergency department with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction and a history of a congenital heart defect. We treated the patient successfully with thrombolytic therapy instead of primary percutaneous intervention, because of the suspicion of a coronary artery anomaly.
