Cilioretinal artery occlusion after cataract and macular hole surgery: A case report.

Purpose: To report cilioretinal artery occlusion in a patient undergoing cataract and macular hole surgery.

Material And Method: A 78-year-old male patient was operated on for a left eye cataract and tractional macular hole. The patient had no intraoperative problems and developed sudden visual loss on the 15th postoperative day.

A bibliometric analysis of publications on emergency medicine in Türkiye.

Objectives: Publications and literature related to emergency medicine (EM) have been consistently increasing. There are 4048 studies in total in the EM journals published until the present day in Türkiye in the Web of Science (WoS) database. Our aim is to define the bibliometric features of scientific studies published in EM journals in Türkiye, to gain insights into the trends of the literature.

A novel technique for thulium laser enucleation of the prostate: anterior releasing with ThuLEP (ARTh technique).

Thulium laser enucleation of the prostate (ThuLEP) is a highly effective approach to the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. We present here a description of the "ARTh Technique" and the benefits it offers in terms of improved visualization, short operation times, and easy recognition of the dissection plane, describing specifically the anterior release (AR) technique using ThuLEP(Th). Included in this retrospective study were 32 consecutive patients operated on between January 2022-November 2022.
