The effect of moral intelligence on cultural sensitivity in nurses.

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the levels of moral intelligence and intercultural sensitivity in nurses.

Three hundred and eighty-four nurses participated in the study. A questionnaire form, the Death Attitude Profile-Revised (DAP-R), and the Penn State Worry Questionnaire were applied to the nurses.

The present study aimed to compare infectious complications in men undergoing transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy (TRUS-Bx) with and without povidone-iodine transrectal injection using a gavage syringe.The records of 112 patients, who underwent TRUS-Bx between January 2016 and December 2019, were retrospectively reviewed. The aging of the population has great social and economic effects because it is characterized by a gradual loss in physiological integrity, resulting in functional decline, thereby loss of ability to move independently. Telomeres, the hallmarks of biological aging, play a protective role in both cell death and aging. Critically short telomeres give rise to a metabolically active cell that is unable to repair damage or divide, thereby leading to aging.

Comparison of stroke cases with other neurological diseases on the basis of haemogram parameters.

Aims: This study aimed to examine the haemogram parameters, including the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), which is fast, easy and practical to determine, in stroke patients who present with more physiological stress and inflammation and compare them with patients presenting other neurological diseases.

CSCs have the ability to form spheroids in three-dimensional culture systems.
