Background: Previous reports from relatively small clinical cohorts have suggested that the clinical presentation of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) differs between men and women.
Objective: We aimed to explore sex differences in clinical and polysomnographic features of OSA in a large nationwide registry.

Background: We aimed to investigate the contribution of serum IgG testing to the history of exposure in the diagnosis of fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
Methods: A single-center, retrospective, cross-sectional study including 63 patients pathologically diagnosed with fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis in line with the guidelines of the American Thoracic Society. Descriptive statistics were presented and Kappa statistic was performed to evaluate the compatibility between panel and the history of exposure.

Background: Acute exacerbation events, which can develop during the natural course of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) can lead to worsening quality of life, increased hospital costs, and higher rates of morbidity and mortality. In recent years, individuals at heightened risk of COPD exacerbations have been said to display a so-called "frequent exacerbator (FE)" phenotype, defined as having two or more exacerbation events (or ≥ 1 exacerbation with a hospitalization) within 1 year.

Objective: To evaluate the persistence of symptoms and health-related quality of life of coronavirus disease-2019 patients.
Methods: The cross-sectional study was conducted from April to September 2020 at Health Sciences University, Yedikule Chest Diseases Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey, and comprised patients of either gender who had to be hospitalised and treated for coronavirus disease-2019. Those who had spent <3 months (46-90 days) post-discharge formed Group 1, those having spent 3-6 were in Group 2, while those with >6 months post-discharge were in Group 3.

The clinical effects of intranasal corticosteroids (INC) on nasal symptoms and the clinical course of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in subjects with chronic rhinitis (CR) seem unclear. To evaluate the clinical effects of INCs on nasal symptoms in subjects with CR and with COVID-19. In subjects with CR and diagnosed with COVID-19 at four tertiary centers, quality of life and nasal symptoms were assessed by using the 22-item Sino-Nasal Outcome Test (SNOT-22) and the visual analog scale (VAS), respectively.

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of prognostic factors and lymph node ratio (LNR) on survival in patients with resected non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Methods: Data from 421 patients with NSCLC who underwent complete resection between 2009 and 2015 were evaluated retrospectively. LNR was defined as the ratio of positive lymph nodes to the total number of lymph nodes removed.

Background: The success of subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) mostly depends on regular injections. Our aim was to investigate adherence to SCIT with aeroallergens during the COVID-19 pandemic and demonstrate clinical consequences of treatment disruptions in real life.
Methods: Visual analogue scale for quality of life (VAS-QoL), VAS for symptom scores (VAS-symptom), medication scores (MSs), and total symptom scores (TSS-6) were recorded during the pandemic in 327 adult allergic rhinitis and/or asthmatic patients receiving maintenance SCIT, and these scores were compared with the pre-pandemic data.

Background: We aimed to evaluate the results of the combined use of rotational atherectomy (RA) followed by drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment against DCB angioplasty alone in patients who had significantly calcified and symptomatic femoropopliteal peripheral arterial disease.
Methods: Patients presented to the clinic with symptoms of chronic limb ischemia of femoropopliteal segment such as moderate or severe claudication and rest pain, who received endovascular therapy between January 2016 and January 2018 in our hospital comprised the study cohort and investigated, retrospectively. Patients with minor or major tissue loss were excluded from the study.
