Background: Being subjected to or witnessing coercive measures in mental health services can have a negative impact on service users, carers and professionals, as they most often are experienced as dehumanising and traumatic. Coercion should be avoided, but when it does happen, it is important to understand how the experience can be processed so that its consequences are managed.

Method: A systematic review and meta-ethnography was used to synthesise findings from qualitative studies that examined service users', staff's and relatives' experiences of recovery from being exposed to coercive measures in mental health care settings.

The concept of palliative care was developed in 2010 along with the establishment of the National Cancer Control Program in Turkey, and today there are many palliative care units, especially in metropolitan hospitals, that provide comprehensive palliative care.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of 3 methods (Buzzy, ShotBlocker, and DistrACTION Cards) in reducing pain and anxiety while taking venous blood samples in children.

Methods: The study population consisted of children aged 9 to 12 years admitted to the Child Health and Diseases Department in a Faculty of Medicine in Turkey. The sample of the study consisted of 242 children (Buzzy = 60, ShotBlocker = 61, DistrACTION Cards = 60, control = 61) who met the patient selection criteria and agreed to participate in the study.

Purpose: In chemotherapy process, the innovative and educational roles of nurses come to the forefront so that children can manage the symptoms they will encounter and thus increase their quality-of-life. Therefore, a tablet game was developed by the authors of this study to evaluate the effect of training children aged 10-16 who receive chemotherapy by a tablet game and a booklet on symptom management and quality-of-life.

Research is beginning to examine gender-based violence (GBV) survivors' recovery, but little is known about diverse recovery trajectories or their relationships with other distress and recovery variables. This interdisciplinary, international multisite mixed-method study developed and used the TRR to identify and classify survivors' trauma pathways. This study describes the phases of the initial development of the preliminary TRR (Phase 1), refines and calibrates the TRR (Phase 2), and then integrates the TRR into quantitative data from four countries (Phase 3).

Aim: This descriptive study was conducted to determine symptoms experienced at home in the early period by patients who received hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), identify coping behaviors used by the patients in the management of symptoms and assess the quality of life of these patients.

Method: The study included 200 patients who had received HSCT at a private hospital in Kocaeli in Turkey between October 2017 and November 2018 and been discharged. Effects of the UNI-PAHNP on physical activity and nutrition behaviors in overweight/obese university students in Turkey.
