Purpose: This study investigates the role of perceived social support from family and friends in enhancing life satisfaction among Syrian refugees in Türkiye during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 636 Syrian refugees residing in Istanbul and Hatay provinces. The study used the Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale, the COVID-19 State Anxiety Sources Scale, and the Satisfaction With Life Scale.

Objectives: This study aims to comparatively evaluate early to mid-term clinical results of case-matched patient groups of primary repairs with dynamic intraligamentary stabilization (DIS) or all-inside anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction (ACLR) by an independent group.

Patients And Methods: Between March 2015 and September 2018, a total of 16 patients operated for ACL injuries with the repair technique were retrospectively identified. Cases were stratified by treatment: DIS technique versus all-inside ACLR and matched at a ratio of 1:2.

  • The study aimed to determine normal two-point discrimination (TPD) values in the lower extremities of healthy young Turkish individuals.
  • Fifty-five participants (49% female, 51% male) aged 22.06 years were tested on various lower leg areas using an esthesiometer.
  • Findings revealed that TPD values were generally higher on the dominant side compared to the non-dominant side, and there was no significant difference between genders in TPD scores across the measured areas.

Aim of present study was to understand changes in speech of clients with regard to certain linguistic features from 5th to 15th session of psychotherapy. First person pronoun use in information structure positions were analyzed in speech of clients. Participants of this study were 11 psychotherapists (clinical psychology master and doctorate students) and 16 clients (applicants to AYNA Psychotherapy Unit).

This study attempts to explain the relationship between job satisfaction and the Big Two, Stability and Plasticity, which are the higher-order traits of Big Five. Occupational Project, a narrative construct, was considered a mediator variable in this relationship. Occupational Project consists of affective and cognitive evaluations of an individual's work life as a project in terms of the completed (past), the ongoing (present) and the prospective (future) parts.
