Background: Labour epidural analgesia reportedly fails in up to 10 to 25% of cases. A joint taskforce of European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) experts was created to develop this focused guideline on the management of failing epidural analgesia in a previously well functioning epidural catheter.
Design: Six clinical questions were defined using a PICO (Population/Intervention/Comparison/Outcome) strategy to conduct a systematic literature search.

Article Synopsis
- * We analyzed data from 90 patients, focusing on various anatomical sites and drainage patterns using scans from 2000 to 2022, and used statistical methods to assess the relationship between thrombus presence and gland measurements.
- * Results showed that while thrombus burden didn't change pituitary gland height, there was a significant relationship between improving thrombus scores and the optic nerve sheath width, indicating that as thrombus improved, the optic sheath width decreased.

Uterotonics play an important role in the management of postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), often caused by uterine atony. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the application of uterotonics for all births. Objective: To determine the incidence and predictive factors for conversion to an open procedure during Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP).
Methods: A retrospective review was performed on files of all patients that underwent HoLEP at our institution between 2013 and 2020. Data collected included demographics, pre-operative estimated prostate size, intraoperative data, pathologic data, and functional baseline.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to describe the current incidence, risk factors, and management of incidental diagnosis of prostate cancer (iPCa) among patients who underwent holmium laser enucleation of prostate (HoLEP) and have no history of prostate cancer.
