Resveratrol (RV-3, 5, 4'-trihydroxystilbene) is a natural compound found in plants like red grapes, berries, and peanuts, with promising effects on dental health. It helps strengthen tooth enamel by promoting remineralization, making the teeth more resistant to decay caused by acid-producing bacteria. RV also shields dentin, a vulnerable layer beneath the enamel, from erosion and sensitivity.

Neuroblastomas are the most common solid tumors outside of the brain that originate from immature neural crest cells, accounting for about 10% of all pediatric malignancies. The treatment for neuroblastomas involves a multimodal schedule, including surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. All these modalities are limited by side effects that might be severe, poor prognosis, and a high risk of recurrence.

Background: Growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43) and neurofilaments light (NFL) are biomarkers of synaptic and axonal injury, and are associated with cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD) contiuum. We investigated whether Polygenic Hazard Score (PHS) is associated with specific biomarkers and cognitive measures, and if it can predict the relationship between GAP-43, NFL, and cognitive decline in AD.
Method: We enrolled 646 subjects: 93 with AD, 350 with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and 203 cognitively normal controls.

The aim of this study was to quantify the threshold of a dental midline shift that would compromise facial attractiveness and indicate a need for treatment from the points of view of laypeople and dental professionals. : Whole-face natural photographs of a male and a female model were digitally manipulated to create various degrees of upper and lower dental midline shifts through bodily movement of the upper or lower midlines as well as alteration of the axial inclination of the upper teeth. The samples were then assessed by two groups of observers (laypeople (LP) and dental professionals (DP)).
