A new deep learning tool has been developed to quickly and accurately detect COVID-19 in chest X-ray images, addressing the healthcare burden caused by the pandemic.
Two frameworks, Deep Hybrid Learning (DHL) and Deep Boosted Hybrid Learning (DBHL), utilize specially designed models (COVID-RENet-1 & 2) that analyze structural features in X-rays for improved detection accuracy.
The DBHL framework outperforms traditional models with high accuracy (98.53%) and has a user-friendly web interface that can diagnose COVID-19 in 5-10 seconds, aiming to enhance early detection and save lives.
