Objective: Management of Differences of Sex Development (DSD) is complex and in resource limited settings the psychosexual and psychosocial aspects of DSD care have received limited attention. This review aims to explore recent literature on psychosocial care of DSD in low and upper middle-income countries (L/UMIC).
Materials And Methods: Scientific databases were searched and papers on management of DSD were reviewed according to predefined inclusion criteria.
Introduction: Enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma (EATL) is a peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) with a poor prognosis. Cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (CHOP) with or without etoposide consolidated by autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) are recommended for fit PTCL patients. The role of etoposide and ASCT in EATL is unclear.

Cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) are increasingly used in the aging population. Modern CIEDs perform daily measurements, mainly aimed at discovering early signs of battery depletion or electrode dysfunction. Changes in thresholds, intracardiac signals, and pacing impedances can be caused by exacerbation of existing conditions or novel clinical problems.

Importance: Efficient care processes are crucial to minimize treatment delays and improve outcome after endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) in patients with ischemic stroke. A potential means to improve care processes is performance feedback.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of performance feedback to hospitals on treatment times for EVT.

Introduction And Objectives: Tralokinumab-a biological that specifically targets interleukin-13-is one of the newer advanced systemic treatments for patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD). Although safety and efficacy have been shown in phase-III clinical trials, daily practice data are needed. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate 28-week safety and effectiveness, serum proteins and total IgE levels in adult AD patients treated with tralokinumab in daily practice.

Background: Previous spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB) is a strong risk indicator for recurrent preterm birth (PTB). Cervical cerclage is an accepted intervention to prevent recurrent PTB in high risk patients. Cervical pessary might be a less invasive alternative.

Importance: Increasing numbers of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) use disease-modifying therapy (DMT). Long-term stable disease while taking such medications provides a rationale for considering DMT discontinuation given patient burden, costs, and potential adverse effects of immunomodulating therapy.
Objective: To investigate whether first-line DMT can be safely discontinued in patients with long-term stable MS.

Variation between trainers in providing traditional gastrointestinal endoscopy training, in which residents learn endoscopy by doing under the supervision of endoscopy trainers, may cause differences in endoscopy competence between residents. In this study, we explored endoscopy trainers' views on the current status and desired future best practices regarding endoscopy training. This mixed-methods study comprised quantitative survey data collected from 158 endoscopy trainers working in 26 gastroenterology teaching hospitals in the Netherlands and semi-structured interviews with 15 gastroenterology residency (associate) program directors (PDs).

Importance: Patients with painful chronic pancreatitis and a dilated pancreatic duct can be treated by early surgery or an endoscopy-first approach.
Objective: To compare long-term clinical outcomes of early surgery vs an endoscopy-first approach using follow-up data from the ESCAPE randomized clinical trial.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Between April 2011 and September 2018, 88 patients with painful chronic pancreatitis were randomly assigned to early surgery or an endoscopy-first approach in 30 hospitals in the Netherlands collaborating in the Dutch Pancreatitis Study Group as part of the ESCAPE randomized clinical trial.

Intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) is a devastating condition associated with high mortality and substantial residual disability among survivors. Effective treatments for the acute stages of ICH are limited. However, promising findings from randomized trials of therapeutic strategies, including acute care bundles that target anticoagulation therapies, blood pressure control and other physiological parameters, and trials of minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures have led to renewed optimism that patient outcomes can be improved.

Background: The clinical impact of a chronic total occlusion (CTO) in patients with 3-vessel coronary artery disease undergoing fractional flow reserve-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with current-generation drug-eluting stents or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is unclear.
Methods: The FAME 3 trial (Fractional Flow Reserve Versus Angiography for Multivessel Evaluation 3) compared fractional flow reserve-guided PCI with CABG in patients with 3-vessel coronary artery disease. The primary end point was major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events, a composite of death, myocardial infarction, stroke, or repeat revascularization at 1 year.

Purpose: Molecular tumor boards (MTBs) are considered beneficial for treatment decision making for patients with cancer with uncommon, rare, or complex mutational profiles. The lack of international MTB guidelines results in significant variation in practices and recommendations. Therefore, periodic follow-up is necessary to assess and govern MTB functioning.

Introduction: A sizeable minority of commercially available blood glucose monitoring (BGM) systems fail to satisfy regulatory accuracy requirements, such as ISO 15197:2013, after approval. This study assessed whether the BGMs tested could consistently meet these ISO requirements by investigating their accuracy in a non-standardized setting.
Methods: In this 18-month post-market performance study, using the ISO criteria, healthcare professionals tested the accuracy of four CE-marked BGM systems (Roche Diabetes Care, Mannheim, Germany) on European adults with diabetes mellitus.

The co-treatment of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) for advanced prostate cancer (PCa) with the fetal estrogen estetrol (E4) may further inhibit endocrine PCa tumor stimulators. We previously reported the suppression of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), total and free testosterone, and prostate-specific antigen by ADT+E4. Here, we provide more detailed data on FSH suppression by E4 and present new findings on the effect of ADT+E4 on insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1).

The treatment of older patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) considered unfit for receiving intensive chemotherapy is challenging. Based on the hypothesis that addition of the broad tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) midostaurin could improve the response to hypomethylating agents, irrespective of FLT3 gene mutational status, we conducted a randomized phase II multicenter study to assess the tolerability and efficacy of the addition of midostaurin to a 10-day schedule of decitabine in unfit (i.e.
