July 2022

Facultad de Economía y Negocios, Universidad Andres Bello, Santiago, Chile.

Grounding on person-job fit theory, we examined perceived overqualification relation with counterproductive work behavior (CWB) by identifying job boredom as a mediator and job crafting as a moderator. Hierarchical linear regression and Hayes' PROCESS macro-method were used to assess hypotheses in a three-wave survey of 317 textile sector employees. The findings show that perceived overqualification is positively related with CWBs.

An Adaptive Topology Management Scheme to Maintain Network Connectivity in Wireless Sensor Networks.

Sensors (Basel)

April 2022

Department of Computer Science, College of Computers and Information Technology, Taif University, P.O. Box 11099, Taif 21944, Saudi Arabia.

The roots of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are tracked back to US military developments, and, currently, WSNs have paved their way into a vast domain of civil applications, especially environmental, critical infrastructure, habitat monitoring, etc. In the majority of these applications, WSNs have been deployed to monitor critical and inaccessible terrains; however, due to their unique and resource-constrained nature, WSNs face many design and deployment challenges in these difficult-to-access working environments, including connectivity maintenance, topology management, reliability, etc. However, for WSNs, topology management and connectivity still remain a major concern in WSNs that hampers their operations, with a direct impact on the overall application performance of WSNs.

Deep Learning Approach for Automatic Microaneurysms Detection.

Sensors (Basel)

January 2022

School of Big Data & Software Engineering, Chongqing University, Chongqing 401331, China.

In diabetic retinopathy (DR), the early signs that may lead the eyesight towards complete vision loss are considered as microaneurysms (MAs). The shape of these MAs is almost circular, and they have a darkish color and are tiny in size, which means they may be missed by manual analysis of ophthalmologists. In this case, accurate early detection of microaneurysms is helpful to cure DR before non-reversible blindness.
