Background: C HIV/AIDS infection is characterized by a very low number of T lymphocytes (CD4), which makes sufferers vulnerable to various infections, and so they seek continuous care in Special Infections Units.

Objective: The purpose of the survey is to investigate the factors that contribute to the satisfaction derived from the health services provided to people living with the human immunodeficiency virus; and they are monitored at the Special Infections Unit of the University General Hospital of Alexandroupoli.

Methods: All patients who came to the Special Infections Unit of the University General Hospital of Alexandroupoli during the period June - July 2021 were asked to complete an anonymous questionnaire on satisfaction derived from the health services provided (E - PQ - SPCSS) and satisfaction derived from their work and quality of life (Occupational Stress Questionnaire, JCQ).

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic progressive demyelinating disease of the central nervous system (CNS), which also affects the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Manifestations of MS in the ANS include urological, sexual, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and thermoregulatory disorders as well as increased fatigue. These problems are common yet are often underestimated due to the non-specificity of the symptoms and the limited evaluation of the ANS in the usual clinical practice.

Nurses' Attitudes Toward Lifelong Learning via New Technologies.

Lifelong professional education is considered as a qualitative indicator in the health discipline, as it can improve health professionals' knowledge and skills, as well as nursing care. The purpose of this original research is to examine and record the attitudes and behavior of nurses working in state-run hospitals in the Municipality of Thessaloniki regarding lifelong education through new technologies. Identification of nurses' motivations for lifelong distance education, recording of nurses' perception of the need for continuing nursing education, and determining how nurses pursue lifelong learning are the objectives of this study.

Depression, anxiety and stress among patients with hematological malignancies and the association with quality of life: a cross-sectional study.

Aim: To evaluate psychological distress and quality of life of patients with hematological malignancies, as well as to identify the prognostic factors that aggravate their condition.

Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive study including 87 patients with Hematological Malignancies was conducted. Data were collected with an anonymous questionnaire consisted by A) a sheet with socio-demographic characteristics, B) the Depression, Stress and Stress Scale (DASS21), and C) World Health Organization Life Quality Scale (WHOQOL - BREF30).

Effects of Probiotics on Diabetic Nephropathy: A Systematic Review.

Background: Diabetic Nephropathy is a frequent complication of diabetes mellitus due to functional and structural modifications in multiple kidney compartments. Probiotics have risen lately as a forthcoming therapeutic intervention but they have not been systematically evaluated in diabetic nephropathy so far.
