Point mutations at codon 600 of the BRAF oncogene are the most common alterations in cutaneous melanoma (CM). Assessment of BRAF status allows to personalize patient management, though the affordability of molecular testing is limited in some countries. This study aimed to develop a model for predicting alteration in BRAF based on routinely available clinical and histological data.

Background: The global aggravation of the political situation in the world against the background of catastrophic changes in the Earth's ecology is inexorably growing. Despite the fact that most ships are equipped with Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP), pollution of the World Ocean remains a serious problem. One of the main reasons contributing to the pollution of the sea by ships is the lack of the ship's environmental protection equipment necessary for the work.

Background: The objective of the study is to evaluate a microbiological efficacy of prevention and development of prosthetic stomatitis in full removable prosthetics.
Material And Methods: All patients with complete absence of the teeth on the lower jaw were divided into four groups: individuals who used full removable dentures and did not use any fixation agents and adhered to conventional oral hygiene; patients with full removable dental prostheses who used the cream "Corega" to strengthen the fixation from the first day of prosthetics and adhered to conventional oral hygiene; patients with complete removable dentures who used Corega Comfort (GSK) to strengthen the fixation from the first day of prosthetics and adhered to conventional oral hygiene; patients with complete removable dentures who used Corega Comfort (GSK) to enhance the fixation and performed antibacterial cleaning of dentures using Biotablets "Corega" for cleaning dentures from the first day of prosthetics. Microbiological and mycological examination of the patients included microscopic examination of smears using conventional and luminescent methods of staining smears from the denture surface.
The strategy for the treatment of gastric cancer (GC), in particular the use of the extended surgical interventions in different countries varies. The different proportion of specific molecular GC subtypes in various populations frequently is not taken into account for comparing treatment outcomes. This pilot study analyzes the association of survival of GC patients after the extended combined surgical interventions depending on the molecular subtype of the tumors.

Background: The epidemiological and environmental security of states is the most important component for the functioning of the International Transport Corridors (ITC). The growing capacity of passenger and cargo flows increases the risk of the spread of dangerous infectious diseases in the territories of the countries on the route of the ITC. Preventing the introduction of dangerous infections by various vehicles and the activation of local natural foci are the priority in the anti-epidemic provision of the population of Ukraine.

Over the past 55 years of research, various experimental methods have been developed for the total synthesis of the anticancer camptothecin, a potent antitumor antibiotic, and its numerous active derivatives. The discoveries made in synthetic pathways of the camptothecin heterocyclic core have contributed significantly to the theory and strategy of directed organic synthesis aimed at finding effective anticancer drugs. The synthetic, medicinal chemistry of camptothecin, the development of structures of anticancer camptothecin analogues, and the mechanism of their activity in inhibiting the growth of different types of cancers, such as lung, ovarian, breast, pancreas, and stomach cancers are analyzed.

Introduction: This article examines different motivators for medical staff in countries with a high gap in healthcare efficiency by comparing them in two healthcare systems-Polish (ie efficient) and Ukrainian (ie inefficient).
Method: This survey-based study applies a six-stage conceptual framework to two Polish and two Ukrainian hospitals as well as medical faculties of one university from each country. Following ethical approval, data were collected in the first quarter of 2019, using the 'Evaluation of motivators questionnaire for medical staff'.

This paper aims to identify the true motivators (needs) of medical staff, compare them with the current labor incentives, and detect possible differences in motivators for main groups of medical staff. Observing personnel of 5 hospitals and students of the medical institute by special questionnaires, the author confirmed the hypothesis of different motivators for groups of medical staff with different ages, professions, and gender. The author used special questionnaires to collect the data.

A new series of peptidomimetic N-substituted Cbz-4-Hyp-Hpa-amides were designed, synthesized, and evaluated for inhibition of the Plasmodium falciparum. Substituents on the N-atom of the amide group were selected alkyl-, allyl-, aryl-, 2-hydroxyethyl-, 2-cyanoethyl-, cyanomethyl-, 2-hydroxyethyl-, 2,2-diethoxyethyl-, or 2-ethoxy-2-oxoethylamino groups, and about of 40 new compounds were synthesized and evaluated for antiplasmodial activity in vitro. Antimalarial activity has been investigated as for the final peptide mimetics, and their immediate predecessors, carrying TBDMS or TBDPS protecting groups on 4-hydroxyproline residue and 18 derivatives exhibited toxicity against P.
