Wild food plants (WFPs) grow naturally and are essential components of the diet and conventional food chain. These plants are underutilized despite being nutritious and highly bio-active compounds. Wild food consumption has declined over the last generation owing to life-style changes and lower availability, and it is still consumed by marginalized communities.

The current study reports the in-depth analysis of the epidemiology, risk factors, and molecular characterization of a complete genome of Enterovirus G (EV-G) isolated from Indian pigs. We analysed several genes of EV-G isolates collected from various provinces in India, using phylogenetic analysis, recombination detection, SimPlot, and selection pressure analyses. Our analysis of 534 porcine faecal samples revealed that 11.

Conjugation of MTX with ZnONPs was authenticated by UV-vis spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering (DLS), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). This drug-nanoconjugate also showed high drug-loading efficiency.

The monoclinic-scheelite (m-s) polymorph of BiVO has the highest photocatalytic activity, whereas tetragonal-zircon (t-z) has the lowest photocatalytic activity, which may be due to a higher band gap. However, t-z has the highest crystal symmetry, which makes it a more suitable candidate to form coherent type-II interfaces for the efficient separation of electron-hole pairs. Furthermore, the method of preparation ( low temperature and moderate pH) of t-z is more facile compared to the m-s polymorph.

Neurodegenerative illnesses refer to the gradual, cumulative loss of neural activity. Neurological conditions are considered to be the second leading cause of mortality in the modern world and the two most prevalent ones are Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. The negative side effects of pharmaceutical use are a major global concern, despite the availability of many different treatments for therapy.

Cefotaxime (CTX) is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria. However, like other third-generation cephalosporin antibiotics, its efficacy is declining due to the increased prevalence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens. Recent advances in nanotechnology have been projected as a practical approach to combat MDR microorganisms.

Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) affects several people worldwide and has devastating impacts on society with a limited number of approaches for its pharmacological treatment. The main causes of AD are not clear yet. However, the formation of senile plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, hyper-phosphorylation of tau protein, and disruption of redox homeostasis may cause AD.

Backgrounds: Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the leading cause of death in women worldwide, HPV infection is the major risk factor in the disease development, 0and however other risk factor such as chemical carcinogens, genetic susceptibility and altered immune system are also a cause of the disease progression. In the light of the above statement we studied the base excision repair pathway (BER).
Methods: We identified and studied the association of Single Nucleotide polymorphisms in the DNA repair genes of XRCC1 (Arg194Trp, Arg399G,) and APE-1Asp/148Glu to the susceptibility of cervical cancer (CC) in North Indian population.

Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) acts as an absolute mediator of cardiovascular risk, prompting the prolonged occurrence, size and intricacy of atherosclerotic plaques via enhanced Advanced Glycation Endproducts (AGEs) formation. Moreover, hyperglycemia is associated with enhanced glyco-oxidized and oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) possessing greater atherogenicity and decreased the ability to regulate HMG-CoA reductase (HMG-R). Although aminoguanidine (AG) prevents the AGE-induced protein cross-linking due to its anti-glycation potential, it exerts several unusual pharmaco-toxicological effects thus restraining its desirable therapeutic effects.

Non-enzymatic glycation mediated advanced glycation end products (AGEs) generation results in the pathogenesis of diabetic complications and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) which is greatly influenced by 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl Co-A reductase (HMG-R) activity. HMG-R inhibitors, statins, are well known for reducing mortality and morbidity of ASCVD in patients with diabetes due to their pleiotropic effects independent of cholesterol lowering. Due to distinct chemical structures, various statins may play important role in the inhibition of AGEs mediated pathologies.
