Osteopetrosis is a disease of osteoclasts that results in failure of bone remodeling. Despite the sclerotic radiographic appearance of the thickened cortices and its material hardness, osteopetrotic bone is weak and prone to fracture by minor trauma. We report a case of a subtrochanteric fracture in an osteopetrotic patient, with further pseudoarthrosis and infection.

Objective: The aim of this study was to report the short-term results and complications of partial humeral head resurfacing (HemiCup) in patients treated by avascular necrosis.
Material And Methods: Between 2010 and 2014, 9 patients who underwent partial resurfacing of humeral head were evaluated. All the patients were treated by avascular necrosis.

In this article, a case of talar neck fracture nonunion is presented. Union was accomplished with an indirect placement of a corticocancellous fibular graft through a posterolateral approach. The advantages and indications for this method of the treatment of talar neck nonunion are discussed, together with a review of the literature.
