Transparent conductive films (TCFs) are critical components of various optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices. The performance of TCFs is mainly ascribed to their superior transparency and low sheet resistance. However, the welding strategy for silver nanowires (AgNWs), the primary material used in TCFs, can significantly affect the optical and electrical properties of the films.

Assembling small molecules at liquid/solid interfaces is relatively common and contributes to many unique properties of the interface. However, such an assembling process can be dynamic depending on the concentration of the molecule and the properties of the solid and liquid themselves, which poses serious challenges on the accurate evaluation of the assembling processes. Herein, we report a convenient way for in situ and real-time monitoring of assembling-disassembling of small-molecule surfactants on the surface of microchannels using pulsed streaming potential (SP) measurement based on the variation of surface charge.

Soft sensors have been extensively utilized to approximate real-time power prediction in wind power generation, which is challenging to measure instantaneously. The short-term forecast of wind power aims at providing a reference for the dispatch of the intraday power grid. This study proposes a soft sensor model based on the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network by combining data preprocessing with Variational Modal Decomposition (VMD) to improve wind power prediction accuracy.

Systemic chemotherapy after surgery is necessary to control tumor recurrence, but the severe side effects caused by chemotherapeutic drugs pose a great threat to patients' health. In this study, we originally develop a porous scaffold used for chemotherapy drug capture by using 3D printing technology. The scaffold is mainly composed of poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) and polyetherimide (PEI) with a mass ratio of 5/1.

At present, it is a considerable challenge to mimic the complex architecture of osteochondral (OC) tissue. In this study, a porous and gradient mineralized double-network hydrogel is synthesized and used to induce bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) to differentiate into the desired OC tissue depending only on the material and mechanical properties. Physical and chemical characterizations show that hydroxyapatite nanoparticles grow and fill into the pores of the hydrogel, and their content presents a gradient change in different layers of hydrogel.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is the most common chronic autoimmune disorder associated with high-cost, side effects, and low therapeutic effects. To improve the treatment of RA, we originally developed a novel anti-RA Au@polydopamine nanoparticles (PDANPs)/TCZ composite using PDANPs as the binding sites of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and the drug carries of tocilizumab (TCZ) through a facile and environmentally-friend method, aiming to effectively scavenge oxygen free radicals (OFR) and inhibit the formation of related inflammatory factors. Characterizations showed that AuNPs with the size of 11.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) can result in severe loss of motor and sensory function caused by ischemia and hypoxia, which are the key limiting factors of SCI rehabilitation. Vascularization is considered an effective way to resolve the issues of ischemia and hypoxia. In this regard, we first fabricated prevascularized nerve conduits (PNC) based on the prevascularized stem cell sheet and evaluated their repair effects by implanting them into transected SCI rats.

Graphene quantum dots (GQDs) have good biocompatibility, high luminescence, and low photobleaching properties, which make them promising alternatives to fluorescent dyes for cell imaging. However, most of the reported GQDs lack targeted selectivity that limits their applications in biomedicine. To overcome the drawback, novel GQDs modified with polyethyleneimine (PEI) or (3-carboxyl) phenyl bromide phosphine (TPP) were originally synthesized via a facile, low-cost, environmentally friendly, and large-scale preparation method.

This study presents a simple method of synthesizing bioactive glass nanoparticles/graphene nanosheets composite (BGs/GNS) scaffolds using the sol-gel and mold-compressing strategies. Characterizations of BGs/GNS scaffold revealed that BGs with an average diameter of 28.75nm were densely anchored onto both sides of GNS.

Emergent content-oriented networks prompt Internet service providers (ISPs) to evolve and take major responsibility for content delivery. Numerous content items and varying content popularities motivate interdependence between peering ISPs to elaborate their content caching and sharing strategies. In this paper, we propose the concept of peering for content exchange between interdependent ISPs in content centric Internet to minimize content delivery cost by a proper peering strategy.
