Federal Research Center «Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences», G.K. Skryabin Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms, Russian Academy of Sciences, 142290 Pushchino, Russia.

This work proposes an approach to the formation of receptor elements for the rapid diagnosis of the state of surface waters according to two indicators: the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) index and toxicity. Associations among microorganisms based on the bacteria and yeast , as well as associations of the yeasts and , were formed to evaluate these indicators, respectively. The use of nanocomposite electrically conductive materials based on carbon nanotubes, biocompatible natural polymers-chitosan and bovine serum albumin cross-linked with ferrocenecarboxaldehyde, neutral red, safranin, and phenosafranin-has made it possible to expand the analytical capabilities of receptor systems.

Dukhov Research Institute of Automatics (VNIIA), 22 Sushchevskaya, Moscow 127055, Russia; Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, 9 Institutskiy pereulok, Dolgoprudny 141700, Moscow region, Russia; and Institute for Theoretical and Applied Electromagnetics, 13 Izhorskaya, Moscow 125412, Russia.

The dynamics of open quantum systems connected with several reservoirs attract great attention due to their importance in quantum optics, biology, quantum thermodynamics, transport phenomena, etc. In many problems, the Born approximation is applicable, which implies that the influence of the open quantum system on the reservoirs can be neglected. However, in the case of long-time dynamics or mesoscopic reservoirs, the reverse influence can be crucial.

LnCl(THF) (Ln = Y, La ÷ Nd, Sm ÷ Lu) readily react with the tridentate 1,3,5-trimethyl-1,3,5-triazacyclohexane (Metach) ligand to form mono- or binuclear lanthanide trichloride complexes, depending on the stoichiometry of the reaction and the ionic radius of the metal: mononuclear pseudosandwich [LnCl(Metach)], (Ln = Y, La ÷ Ho) or binuclear complexes [LnCl(Metach)], or [LnCl(Metach)(THF)] (Ln = Sm, Tb). Detailed analysis of the NMR data of [LnCl(Metach)] complexes with paramagnetic lanthanide ions showed that their structures remained unchanged in the toluene solution. A series of isomorphous complexes [LnCl(Metach)(Py)] (Ln = La, Sm, Tb, Er, Lu; Py = pyridine) have been obtained by the recrystallization of either mononuclear or binuclear complexes from pyridine.

The theory of the nonlinear dynamics of a canted antiferromagnet-based (AFM) spin-Hall oscillator with weak ferromagnetism caused by the strong Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction between magnetic sublattices is rigorously studied. The AFM oscillator's frequency tuning is carried out both due to a DC spin-polarized current flowing through the normal metal layer and an external permanent magnetic field. A feature of the operation of this oscillator is the presence of a hysteresis region between the subcritical (damping) and overcritical (self-oscillating) regimes.

A modulation method is proposed for generating identical UWB chaotic radio pulses using an analog generator of chaotic oscillations. The problem is on the edge of two contradicting requirements: (1) theoretical ability to produce a huge number of various-shape signals, because of high sensitivity to the initial conditions of the generator; (2) the necessity to reproduce oscillations of the same shape both in the receiver and in the transmitter for the implementation of coherent methods of signal processing. The considered method allows us to resolve this contradiction.

The results of experimental studies of ohmic conductivity degradation in the ensembles of nanostructured anatase bridges under a long-term effect of direct current are presented. Stochastic sets of partially conducting inter-electrode bridges consisting of close-packed anatase nanoparticles were formed by means of the seeding particles from drying aqueous suspensions on the surfaces of silica substrates with interdigital platinum electrodes. Multiple-run experiments conducted at room temperature have shown that ohmic conductivity degradation in these systems is irreversible.

The study of the electrical parameters of asolectin bilayer lipid membranes in the presence of cytochrome c (cyt c) at various concentrations showed that an increase in the concentration of cyt c leads to an increase in the membrane conductance and the appearance of through pores. The studied membranes did not contain cardiolipin, which is commonly used in studying the effect of cyt c on membrane permeability. In the presence of cyt c, discrete current fluctuations were recorded.

The integral conductance of planar lipid bilayer membranes in the presence of two Poloxamers (Pluronics) L61 and F68 with the same lengths of hydrophobic poly(propylene oxide) blocks and the different lengths of hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) blocks increases with an increase in the concentration of both Pluronics; however, the shape of the conductance-concentration curves is super linear for L61 and sublinear for F68. In the presence of both Pluronics, rare discrete current jumps are observed against the background of continuous current. At high concentrations, the I-V curves of membranes with both L61 and F68 became nonlinear at sufficiently low voltages but differed significantly.

Heterogeneous superconductivity onset is a common phenomenon in high-Tc superconductors of both the cuprate and iron-based families. It is manifested by a fairly wide transition from the metallic to zero-resistance states. Usually, in these strongly anisotropic materials, superconductivity (SC) first appears as isolated domains.

Inelastic (dissipative) effects of different natures in lipid bilayer membranes can lead to hysteresis phenomena. Early, it was shown that lipid bilayer membranes, under the action of a periodic sinusoidal voltage, demonstrate pinched-hysteresis loops in the experimental capacitance-voltage dependences and are almost the only example of the physical implementation of memcapacitance. Here, we propose an equivalent circuit and mathematical framework for analyzing the dynamic nonlinear current response of a lipid bilayer membrane as an externally controlled memcapacitance.
