Radiation recall phenomenon is an inflammatory process occurring at sites of previous radiation subsequent to administration of pharmacologic agents. The most common chemotherapeutic agents implicated with radiation recall phenomenon are anthracyclines and taxanes. Skin is the most common site for radiation recall.

South Asia is home to one of the largest population of people with metabolic syndrome (MetS). The prevalence of MetS in South Asians varies according to region, extent of urbanization, lifestyle patterns, and socioeconomic/cultural factors. Recent data show that about one-third of the urban population in large cities in India has the MetS.

Secondary signet-ring cell adenocarcinoma of urinary bladder from a gastric primary.

Primary bladder tumor is a frequent urological malignancy, whereas the incidence of secondary bladder tumor from a distant organ is quite rare. Secondary bladder neoplasms represent 1% of all malignant bladder tumors, of which distant metastases from stomach account for about 4% of cases. We present the case of a 30-year-old male who underwent partial gastrectomy for Signet-ring cell carcinoma of the stomach and presented 2 years later with hematuria.

Primary hyperparathyroidism presenting as recurrent acute pancreatitis: A case report and review of literature.

The association between pancreatitis and primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is controversial. We report a 32-year-old man who presented with recurrent episodes of acute pancreatitis. Primary hyperparathyroidism was diagnosed after the fourth episode of pancreatitis.

Clinico-serological profile of juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

We report clinico-serological profile of 210 children with Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), diagnosed as per ILAR classification criteria. Polyarticular, oligoarticular, and systemic onset disease was observed in 72, 69, and 40 children, respectively. The knee joint was the most frequently involved joint.

Hemothorax--a rare presentation of congenital strangulated diaphragmatic hernia.

We report the case of a 7 years old previously asymptomatic child who initially presented with respiratory distress because of massive left-sided hemothorax but was subsequently diagnosed to be having strangulated small intestine through a diaphragmatic rent on laparotomy. The case is being discussed in detail and the possible causes of hemothorax in such a scenario discussed.
