Objective: To evaluate role of rajyoga meditation (RYM) versus stress management counselling (SMC) in addressing burnout syndrome and resultant improvement in electrocardiogram (ECG) so as to automate burnout prediction from raw ECG data with machine learning (ML).
Methods: Healthcare providers were assigned to two groups: RYM (n = 100) or SMC (n = 102). Subjects in RYM received rajyoga for 3 months including one week offline and thereafter, virtual mode.

Aim: Polmacoxib, a new COX-2 inhibitor with carbonic anhydrase (CA) inhibitory action, is expected to help minimize the adverse effects associated with other NSAIDs, like GI (gastrointestinal) and CV (cardiovascular) system- related issues. The comparative efficacy and safety of polmacoxib 2 mg (manufactured by Hetero Labs Limited) versus celecoxib 200 mg (manufactured by Hetero Labs Limited) were assessed in this randomized, double-anonymous, clinical study in Indian adult patients diagnosed with idiopathic osteoarthritis (OA) of the.
Patients & Methodology: 18 years and older patients of either sex, clinically and radiographically diagnosed idiopathic knee or hip OA were randomized to receive either polmacoxib or celecoxib in a 1:1 ratio.

Crossed Wernicke's aphasia (CWA) following a stroke is a rare clinical phenomenon, particularly when associated with seizures. This case report presents a unique instance of crossed CWA accompanied by focal clonic cluster seizures affecting the left arm and face, with secondary generalization, in a monolingual Bengali-speaking patient following a right middle cerebral artery ischemic stroke. The patient, a 70-year-old male from rural India, presented with acute behavioral abnormalities and language impairment.

The existence of a mutual relationship between gut microbiota and immune homeostasis highlights its importance in the context of kidney transplantation. The translational utility of gut microbiota as a biomarker for allograft injury has not been assessed before. In this study, we aimed to characterize the gut microbial diversity in kidney transplant recipients and investigate the alterations in the gut microbial composition in association with allograft injury such as histopathological graft rejection and calcineurin inhibitor toxicity.

Background: Preeclamptic women, in addition to traditional antihypertensive medications, often receive magnesium supplementation and are at increased risk of postspinal hypotension Postspinal hypotension increases the risk of fetomaternal morbidity. Calcium is a physiological antagonist of magnesium in vascular smooth muscle. Therefore, the study hypothesized that calcium is better suited for preserving systemic vascular resistance and preventing postspinal hypotension during cesarean delivery.

Background: Different treatment approaches exist for non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. This study assessed the systemic immune inflammatory response index (SIIRI) for its prognostic value and incremental clinical utility in determining optimal timing for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) patients, particularly when troponin levels are initially negative.
Methods: This study included 1270 ACS patients: 437 STEMI, 422 NSTEMI, and 411 unstable angina.

() infection affects a substantial proportion of the global population and causes various gastric disorders, including gastric cancer. Recent studies have found an inverse relationship between infection and esophageal cancer (EC), suggesting a protective role against EC. This editorial focuses on the possible mechanisms underlying the role of infection in EC and explores the role of gut microbiota in esophageal carcinogenesis and the practicality of eradication.

Objectives: Acne scars often become challenging to treat with satisfactory results. The chemical reconstruction of skin scars (CROSS) technique has been used with high concentrations of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) which often produces unacceptable side effects. There is a dearth of data, with 50% glycolic acid (GA) for the same indication in the management of acne scars in the Indian population.

Introduction: Patients with chronic HBV infection (CHI) exhibit defective anti-viral immune-response whose underlying causes still remain unclear. Monocytes act as immune sentinels for pathogens and can regulate immunity via interaction with other immune-cells, apart from differentiating into macrophages. Immune-checkpoint molecules (ICMs) expressed by immune-cells, including monocytes are known to negatively regulate immune-responses.
