The burgeoning interest in the field of molecular magnetism is to perceive the high magnetic anisotropy in different geometries of metal complexes and hence to draw a magneto-structural correlation. Despite a handful of examples to exemplify the magnetic anisotropy in various coordination geometries of mononuclear complexes, the magnetic anisotropies for two different coordination geometries are underexplored. Employing an appropriate synthetic strategy utilizing the ligand LH [2,2'-{(1,1')-pyridine2,6-diyl-bis(methaneylylidine)}-bis(azaneylylidine)diphenol] and cobalt halide salts in a 1 : 2 stoichiometric ratio in the presence of triethylamine allowed us to report a new family of dinuclear cobalt complexes [CoII2X(L)(P)(Q)]·S with varying terminal halides [X = Cl, P = CHCN, Q = HO, S = HO (1), X = Br, P = CHCN, Q = HO, S = HO (2), X = I, P = CHCN, and Q = CHCN (3)].

The exploration of smart sensors is of great significance for the selectivity, sensitivity, and ability to show the low detection limit for the target analyte. Here, we have used the linker HL (5-((anthracen-9-ylmethyl)amino)isophthalic acid) for the construction of {[Cd(L)(DMF)(HO)]·HO} () which is in order with the chromophore anthracene moiety and the free -NH functionality as a guest interaction site. This framework showed the luminescence recovery "turn-on" detection of the Al ion in an aqueous solution.

The evaluation of the severity of the factors influencing road accidents with a detailed severity distribution is critical to plan evidence-based road safety improvements and strategies. However, currently available studies use statistical and machine learning (ML) models to evaluate the severity of factors causing road accidents without a detailed severity distribution. Further, most of these available models require significant pre-data processing and have certain data-centric limitations.

In the present work, four branched methylated, 1,2-dimethyl-3-isopropyl-imidazolium (i-[CDmim]) and protonated,1-methyl-3-isopropyl-imidazolium (i-[Cmim])-based ionic liquids (ILs) with varying anion (Br, BF, PF, and NTf) were synthesized and investigated by NMR, infrared (IR) and Raman spectroscopy. Based on infrared and Raman spectroscopy, complete vibrational assignments have been performed. The IR and Raman analysis revealed that the vibrational spectra are virtually unaffected upon methylation, while significant frequency changes were observed by changing anion.

Lane-keeping assistance design for road vehicles is a multi-objective design problem that needs to simultaneously maintain lane tracking, ensure driver comfort, provide vehicle stability, and minimize conflict between the driver and the autonomous controller. In this work, a cooperative control strategy is proposed for lane-keeping keeping by integrating driving monitoring, variable level of assistance allocation, and human-in-the-loop control. In the first stage, a time-varying physical driver loading pattern is identified based on a relationship between lateral acceleration, road curvature, and the measured maximum driver torque.
