Objective: Automatic segmentation and detection of vestibular schwannoma (VS) in MRI by deep learning is an upcoming topic. However, deep learning faces generalization challenges due to tumor variability even though measurements and segmentation of VS are essential for growth monitoring and treatment planning. Therefore, we introduce a novel model combining two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models for the detection of VS by deep learning aiming to improve performance of automatic segmentation.

Introduction: As the delivery of continuing medical education moves towards digital modes, determining how to embed and capitalise on the skills of specialised educators in digital modalities is critical. Drawing on social theories of adult learning and behaviour change, this study trialled multiple delivery modes of education about reproductive genetic 'carrier screening' with varying levels of specialised educator (genetic counsellors) input to examine clinical effectiveness, and health care practitioners and educator preferences.

Methods: A subset of health care practitioners (n = 209) interested in offering carrier screening through a large study were randomly allocated to receive education via face-to-face, a pre-recorded video or an online module, with active or passive educator input.

Objective: To summarise evidence on the clinical effectiveness of initial vascular attempts via the intraosseous route compared to the intravenous route in adult cardiac arrest.

Methods: We searched MEDLINE and Embase (OVID platform), the Cochrane library, and the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform from inception to September 4 2024 for randomised clinical trials comparing the intraosseous route with the intravenous route in adult cardiac arrest. Background: Previous studies showed that physical performance was associated with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). As the easily measured aging biomarkers, grip strength and gait speed could effectively reflect physical function. This randomized controlled study was conducted to evaluate the effects of telephone-assisted breastfeeding monitoring on physiological jaundice, exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months, colic, breastfeeding success, and breastfeeding self-efficacy. Breastfeeding and infant care training were given to pregnant women by video calls (N = 54). Video call counseling was provided to the mothers in the intervention group (n = 27) every day for the first week after discharge and weekly until the 24th week, and the control group (n = 27) was only telephone called in follow-up weeks.

The module was designed and developed at Heartfulness Institute, Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad. The Department of Medicine, MGM Medical College & Hospital, MGMIHS, Navi Mumbai, carried out the validation and subsequently pilot-tested on volunteers. Forty experts were selected to validate the contents of IAHFNM & YP which was designed after a thorough review of meditation and yoga literature.
