Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a rare syndrome characterized by convulsions, headache, fatigue, impaired mental status, and decreased vision. It is mainly accompanied by hypertension. Although the pathophysiology of PRES is unknown, some theories revolve around cerebral autoregulation, the ability to maintain cerebral blood flow, or the brain's ability to maintain steady cerebral blood flow over a varying range of blood pressures by cerebral vaso-constriction or dilation.

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a complex puzzle in Africa, especially among children who present with a cocktail of issues including recurrent pulmonary infections, unoperated congenital heart disease, and advanced rheumatic heart disease. Sickle cell anemia and neonatal complications of transiting from fetal circulation also contribute to the burden of pulmonary hypertension. Mortality from pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) remains high in Africa (18-21%), claiming sufferers in the first 6 months after diagnosis.

Introduction: and importance: Pneumonectomy is commonly associated with cardiopulmonary complications. Pneumonectomy in Pancoast tumor with mediastinal extension and no metastasis could be successful and efficient.
Case Presentation: Herein, we report a successful pneumonectomy of a 54-year-old man with pancoast tumor along with the involvement of mediastinal space including right hilum of the lung, right bronchial, inferior vena cava vein and pericardium.
A case of TEF along with subglottic stenosis in a patient as a result of prolong intubation. We performed left unilateral tracheal repair to avoid injury to left recurrent laryngeal nerve followed by endoscopic balloon repair of stenosis. Due to critical condition of the patient and COVID-19 infection, she expired.

The arrival of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the African continent resulted in a range of lockdown measures that curtailed the spread of the infection but caused economic hardship. African countries now face difficult choices regarding easing of lockdowns and sustaining effective public health control measures and surveillance. Pandemic control will require efficient community screening, testing, and contact tracing; behavioral change interventions; adequate resources; and well-supported, community-based teams of trained, protected personnel.
