To compare the diagnostic value of fluorine 18-labelled prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT PRIMARY score and PSMA expression score for clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa). The data of 70 patients with prostate cancer who underwent radical prostatectomy at Beijing Hospital from February 1, 2019 to February 29, 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent whole body F-PSMA PET/CT examination before surgery and pathological large sections of prostate specimens were made after surgery.

To establish and validate a nomogram based on clinical characteristics and metabolic parameters derived from F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography and computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) for prediction of high-grade patterns (HGP) in invasive lung adenocarcinoma. The clinical and PET/CT image data of 311 patients who were confirmed invasive lung adenocarcinoma and underwent pre-treatment F-FDG PET/CT scan in Beijing Hospital between October 2017 and March 2022 were retrospectively collected. The enrolled patients were divided into HGP group (196 patients) and non-HGP group (115 patients) according to the presence and absence of HGP.

: Genes and environments were transmitted across generations. Parents' genetics influence the environments of their offspring; these two modes of inheritance can produce a genetic nurture effect, also known as indirect genetic effects. Such indirect effects may partly account for estimated genetic variance in T2D.

It is known that ultrashort echo time (UTE) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences can detect signals from water protons but not collagen protons in short T2 species such as cortical bone and tendons. However, whether collagen protons are visible with the zero echo time (ZTE) MRI sequence is still unclear. In this study, we investigated the potential of the ZTE MRI sequence on a clinical 3T scanner to directly image collagen protons via DO exchange and freeze-drying experiments.

The early treatment of Osteonecrosis of Femoral Head (ONFH) remains a clinical challenge. Conventional Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell (BMSC) injection methods often result in unsatisfactory outcomes due to mechanical cell damage, low cell survival and retention rates, inadequate cell matrix accumulation, and poor intercellular interaction. In this study, we employed a novel cell carrier material termed "3D Microscaffold" to deliver BMSCs, addressing these issues and enhancing the therapeutic effects of cell therapy for ONFH.

Background: The use of potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs) is a major concern for medication safety as it may entail more harm than potential benefits for older adults. This study aimed to explore the prescribing rate, healthcare utilization, and expenditure of older adults using PIMs in China.
Methods: A cross-sectional analysis was conducted using a national representative database of all medical insurance beneficiaries across China, extracting ambulatory visit records of adults aged 65 years and above between 2015 and 2017.

Objective: To develop a patient version of guidelines (PVG) for rehabilitation nursing (RN) in stroke patients with limb dysfunction, aiming to enhance patients' awareness, self-management skills, and adherence to rehabilitation programs.
Methods: This guideline was developed based on the cultural and healthcare context of China, and was guided on the Minimum standards for the Development Process, Content and Governance of Patient-Directed Knowledge Tools and the PVG tool book of the Guidelines International Network. The guideline was constructed through a normative process involving clarifying priority questions, assessing and integrating evidence, detailing and contextualizing recommendations, and evaluating the prototype of PVG.

Background: Machine learning is pivotal for predicting Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter-related venous thrombosis (PICC-RVT) risk, facilitating early diagnosis and proactive treatment. Existing models often assess PICC-RVT risk as static and discrete outcomes, which may limit their practical application.
Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of seven diverse machine learning algorithms, including three deep learning and four traditional machine learning models, that incorporate time-series data to assess PICC-RVT risk.

Background: Lipoid pneumonia (LP) is a rare disease caused by the accumulation of lipids and lipid-laden macrophages in the alveoli inducing damage. LP is difficult to differentiate from other similar diseases without pathological evidence, such as upper respiratory tract infection (URTI), pneumonia, cryptogenic organizing pneumonia (COP), pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP), lung mucinous adenocarcinoma and pulmonary edema. Given the high misdiagnosis rate and limited statistical clinical and treatment data, there is an urgent need for novel indicators of LP.
