A Three-Dimensional Scale for the Qualitative and Quantitative Assessments of Secondary Alveolar Bone Grafting (SABG) in Unilateral Cleft Lip and Palate Patients Using Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).

 The objective of our study was to derive an objective assessment scale for three-dimensional (3D) qualitative and quantitative evaluation of secondary alveolar bone grafting (SABG) using cone-bone computed tomography (CBCT) in patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP).  CBCT scans for pre- and 3-month post-SABG were reviewed for bone volume, height, width, and density of the bony bridge formed in the cleft defect in 20 patients with UCLP. Basic descriptive and principal component analysis was used to extract the various sub-components of the scale.

Periodontal health of the geriatric population in old-age homes of Delhi, India.

Background: Periodontal disease is one of the leading causes of tooth loss in the geriatric population. Assessment of periodontal disease in a population is an important step in planning effective prevention and control programs for periodontal disease. Therefore, a study was carried out in old-age homes of Delhi to assess the periodontal status of 65-74-year-old elderly and recommend interventions to improve their periodontal health.

A comparative assessment of transfer accuracy of two indirect bonding techniques in patients undergoing fixed mechanotherapy: A randomised clinical trial.

Objectives: To assess the transfer accuracy of three-dimensional (3D) printed transfer trays and compare them with transfer trays made up of polyvinyl siloxane (PVS) for use in indirect bonding.

Design: This was a two-arm parallel prospective randomised controlled trial.

Three-Dimensional Miniplate: For the Management of Mandibular Parasymphysis Fractures.

Background: Recently, oral and maxillofacial surgeons are favoring three-dimensional (3D) miniplates to treat mandibular fractures.

Aims: The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of 3D-miniplates over standard miniplates in the management of mandibular parasymphysis fracture.

Materials And Methods: Forty patients with mandibular parasymphysis fractures were divided into two groups of 20 patients each.

Objective: The aim of this study is to prepare and obturate the curved canals of the mesiobuccal root of maxillary first molar with four different file systems that is protaper hand files, rotary pro taper (RP) files, heroshaper hand files, and rotary hero shapers files and to evaluate the adaptation of their single-cone Gutta-percha by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT).

Materials And Methods: Eighty teeth were selected and were divided into two groups (G1A1, G1A2 and G2A1, G2A2 as hand and RP file system, G1A3, G1A4 and G2A3, G2A4 as hand and rotary hero shaper files system) of fourth teeth each. After access opening working length of the mesiobuccal canal was established.

Comparative Study Between Two Flaps-Trapezoidal flap (TZF) and Ocshenbein-Leubke Flap (OLF) in Periapical Surgeries.

The ultimate goal in surgical endodontics is not only the eradication of periapical pathosis but also preservation of periodontal tissues using suitable surgical techniques. Treatment outcomes are no longer acceptable without considering the esthetic consequences of all involved dentoalveolar structures. It is critical that incisions and tissue elevations and reflections are performed in a way that facilitates healing by primary intention.
