This study examined secular trends in Russian adolescent mental health, the specific effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and associations with country-level indicators. A cross-sectional survey of 12,882 adolescents aged 11-18 years was carried out between 1999 and 2021 using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire. The results showed an incline in girls' internalizing problems with a two-fold increase in the gender gap.

The content of primary and secondary products of membrane peroxidation, total cholesterol concentration, and relative microviscosity of erythrocyte membranes were measured in women with endometrial cancer and uterine leiomyoma. The content of conjugated dienes in erythrocytes was highest in female patients with malignant tumors of the endometrium. The relative microviscosity of erythrocyte membranes in patients with uterine leiomyoma and endometrial cancer was elevated in the zone of lipid--lipid and protein--lipid contacts.

The levels of blood lymphocyte NAD(P)-dependent dehydrogenases were investigated in children and teenagers with different duration of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). The level of some NAD(P)-dependent dehydrogenases changed proportionally in dependence of IDDM duration and insulin therapy did not restore their activities to the normal level. It is suggested that these changes may reflect decrease of energy metabolism and plastic processes in blood lymphocytes from diabetic children and teenagers reflecting.
