Novel concept for the healthy population influencing factors.

Front Public Health

December 2024

School of Management Engineering and Business, Hebei University of Engineering, Handan, China.

In the rapid urbanization process in China, due to reasons such as employment, education, and family reunification, the number of mobile population without registered residence in the local area has increased significantly. By 2020, the group had a population of 276 million, accounting for over 20% of the total population, making significant contributions to urban economic development and resource optimization. However, the health status of migrant populations is affected by unique issues such as occupational risks and socio-economic disparities, which play an important role in personal welfare, social stability, and sustainable economic growth.

We propose a game model that integrates reinforcement learning (RL) with link strategies and conformity behavior to investigate the emergence and maintenance of cooperation. The model operates on a lattice network with periodic boundaries and includes two types of nodes: RL nodes with link strategies and conformist nodes. Simulation results reveal a range of critical mass.

Article Synopsis
  • This study explores how electroosmotic flow (EOF) behaves in a two-layer fluid system within a microchannel that has wavy walls.
  • The upper layer is a conducting fluid, while the lower layer is nonconducting, and the analysis involves mathematical techniques like perturbation expansion.
  • Key findings indicate that the flow's velocity distribution is impacted by the relative roughness of the channel walls and the fluid's viscosity; specifically, higher viscosity ratios and other factors generally lead to decreased average flow velocity.

Exploring the origin of beta - band oscillation in the cortex - basal ganglia model plays an important role in understanding the mechanism of Parkinson's disease. In this paper, we investigate the effect of three synaptic transmission time delays in the subthalamic nucleus(STN) - the globus pallidus external segment(GPe) loop, the excitatory neurons in the cortex(EXN) - the inhibitory neurons in the cortex(INN) loop and EXN - STN loop on critical conditions of occurrence of beta - band oscillation through Hopf bifurcation theory including linear stability analysis, center manifold theorem and normal form analysis. Our results reveal that suitable transmission time delay can induce beta - band oscillation through Hopf bifurcation, and the critical condition under which Hopf bifurcation occurs is more sensitive to the transmission time delay in EXN - STN loop , where if , beta - band oscillation always occurs for any transmission time delay in STN - GPe, EXN - INN loops.

The mixing groups gathered in the enclosed space form a complex contact network due to face-to-face interaction, which affects the status and role of different groups in social communication. The intricacies of epidemic spreading in mixing groups are intrinsically complicated. Multiple interactions and transmission add to the difficulties of understanding and forecasting the spread of infectious diseases in mixing groups.

Reliability analysis of the solidification cooling of solid rocket motor grain material.

PLoS One

August 2024

College of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China.

The reliability of solid rocket motor grain structure during solidification cooling is analyzed. First, a three-dimensional parametric modeling of the grain is carried out by ANSYS finite element software. The dangerous point and dangerous moment can be obtained based on the transient and dynamic thermo-structure coupling under the cooling condition.

Al/Ni energetic structural material with both high strength structural properties and high energy release functional properties can undergo a strong exothermic reaction under heating or impact loading conditions. In order to investigate the influence of microstructure on the mechanical properties and energy release characteristics of the Al/Ni energetic structural material, the materials with different Ni contents were prepared by cold spraying. With the increase of Ni particles, the microstructure inside the energetic structural material gradually changes from a continuous network structure of Al to a continuous network structure of Ni.

Pilot Free Trade Zones (PFTZs) are a crucial new platform for China to build a more open economic system. Existing literature primarily focuses on the 'Bring In' effect of PFTZs, often overlooking the importance of 'Going Out' aspects. To bridge this gap, this paper uses data from China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed enterprises from 2007 to 2021 and constructs a time-varying difference-in-differences (DID) model to test the impact of establishment of PFTZs on international expansion of enterprises.

Higher-order interactions exist widely in mobile populations and are extremely important in spreading epidemics, such as influenza. However, research on high-order interaction modeling of mobile crowds and the propagation dynamics above is still insufficient. Therefore, this study attempts to model and simulate higher-order interactions among mobile populations and explore their impact on epidemic transmission.

In order to solve the problem of coordinated development among mining economy, social governance and environmental conservation in global resource-based cities, we choose Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research area. The advantage of resource endowment and resource industry was measured by location quotient and input-output method. The panel data related to mining governance from 2010 to 2021 were selected to build the evaluation and coupling analysis model between mining economic, social governance and environmental conservation, and the spatial-temporal heterogeneity and coupling effect of them were analyzed by comprehensive empowerment evaluation, spatial autocorrelation analysis and barrier degree methods.

This study establishes a comprehensive suite of sanction indices and employs the time-varying vector autoregressive dynamic spillover index (TVP-VAR-DY) model, to examine the spillover effects of EU economic sanctions against Russia on oil prices and share prices of third-country energy companies, as well as takes China and the USA as examples for analysis. The findings indicate that sanctions targeting the energy sector are the primary drivers of volatility in oil prices and energy company stock prices. The impact on Chinese energy firms' stock prices is more pronounced, while the effects on their American counterparts are more enduring.

Micromachines (Basel)

November 2023

School of Mathematical Science, Inner Mongolia University, Hohhot 010021, China.

The features of stationary random processes and the small parameter expansion approach are used in this work to examine the impact of random roughness on the electromagnetic flow in cylindrical micropipes. Utilizing the perturbation method, the analytical solution until second order velocity is achieved. The analytical expression of the roughness function , which is defined as the deviation of the flow rate ratio with roughness to the case having no roughness in a smooth micropipe, is obtained by integrating the spectral density.

This paper aims to establish a coupling model of neuronal populations and astrocytes and, on this basis, explore the possible mechanism of electroencephalography (EEG) slowing in Alzheimer's disease (AD) from the viewpoint of dynamical modeling. First and foremost, excitatory and inhibitory time constants are shown to induce the early symptoms of AD. The corresponding dynamic nature is mainly due to changes in the amplitude and frequency of the oscillatory behavior.
