Reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (RCVS) poses a complex neurological challenge characterized by sudden, severe headaches and multifocal cerebral vasoconstriction. While our understanding of its clinical aspects and underlying mechanisms has advanced, the focus of investigation remains on radiological manifestations. This systematic review aims to comprehensively analyze the existing literature on radiological findings in RCVS, synthesizing evidence from diverse imaging modalities to enhance the understanding of imaging features associated with the syndrome.

Background: Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by demyelination of peripheral nerves. GBS-associated posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a rare and potentially life-threatening complication in the pediatric population. We aimed to report and analyze the clinical features, management, and outcomes of three cases of GBS-associated PRES in our setting in the light of the existing literature.

Head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) have proven to be inherently resistant to systemic treatments as a result of histological, molecular, and etiological heterogeneity, with limited responses seen after second-line therapy and beyond. With limited treatment options after progression on systemic chemotherapy in HNSCCs, immunotherapy has a role to play with improved results. In this prospective, observational, non-randomized, open-label study, a total of 12 patients with advanced, relapsed, or metastatic HNSCC received Inj.

To study the influence of various tunnel parameters and graft inclination angle (GIA) on the clinical and radiological outcome after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) at long-term follow-up. In this retrospective study, 80 patients with isolated anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury treated by single bundle ACLR using bone patellar tendon bone (BPTB) and hamstring (HT) autografts were evaluated clinically and radiologically at their long-term follow-up. The study population were divided into two groups based on ideal and nonideal tunnel parameters as well as ideal and nonideal GIA.

Background: Metabolic syndrome consists of cardiometabolic risk factors that promote the development of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, type 2 'DM' and obesity. These are associated with increased cardiovascular mortality and morbidity. Metabolic disorders (MD) are becoming more prevalent both in developing countries and developed countries and are now considered as lifestyle diseases.

Recently, various innovative advancements have been made in carbohydrate research to design versatile materials for biomedical applications. The current research focuses on the development of copolymeric hydrogel wound dressings (HWD) using a combination of aloe vera (AV) - sterculia gum (SG) - poly (vinylsulfonic acid) (VSA)-based with the aim to enhancing their efficacy in drug delivery (DD) applications. These hydrogel dressings were encapsulated with levofloxacin and lidocaine to address both microbial infection and pain.

Background: Systemic sclerosis is an autoimmune connective tissue disease characterized by fibrosis in skin and internal organs. Chronic exposure to silica may not only lead to silicosis of lungs but also systemic sclerosis. Systemic sclerosis is relatively commoner in females; however, occupational exposure to silica in males makes them vulnerable to silica--associated systemic sclerosis (Erasmus syndrome).

Introduction Reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (RCVS) is most commonly characterized by focal or diffuse severe thunderclap headache with or without focal neurological deficits and associated transient focal vasoconstriction of the intracerebral arteries lasting up to three months. We present six patients diagnosed as RCVS, with three patients presenting with focal neurological deficits without headache and the remaining three with severe headache alone. Neuroimaging revealed focal subarachnoid bleed with or without segmental intracerebral vasospasm, which resolved over three months.

Background: Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) is being explored for dynamic measurements like inferior vena cava collapsibility index (IVC-CI) and left ventricular outflow tract velocity time integral (LVOT-VTI) to guide anesthesiologists in predicting fluid responsiveness in the preoperative period and in treating post-induction hypotension (PIH) with varying accuracy.
Methods: In this prospective, observational study on included 100 adult patients undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia, the LVOT-VTI and IVC-CI measurements were performed in the preoperative room 15 minutes prior to surgery, and PIH was measured for 20 minutes in the post-induction period.
Results: The incidence of PIH was 24%.
