Recent focus has shifted toward refining the soft tissue emergence profile to enhance aesthetics, support peri-implant health, and ensure long-term success. Traditionally, titanium stock healing abutments or chairside-customized abutments were used to shape peri-implant tissues and develop the emergence profile for implant-supported prostheses. However, advancements in digital dentistry now allow for more precise customization and increased treatment efficiency.

Youth with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) often exhibit impairments in mathematics, but long-term math development into adulthood, particularly in females, is underexplored. We characterized trajectories of math achievement in girls with ADHD and an age- and ethnicity-matched comparison sample from childhood through early adulthood across four waves and examined childhood cognitive predictors (global executive functioning, working memory, processing speed) of trajectories. The ethnically and socioeconomically diverse sample comprised 140 girls with carefully diagnosed ADHD and 88 neurotypicals, ages 6 to 12 years at baseline.

Introduction: Research has yet to examine the interplay between indices of environmental risk and resilience processes and genetic predisposition for epigenetic aging in predicting early adolescent depressive symptoms. In the current study we examine whether adverse life events and parental acceptance moderate polygenic predisposition for GrimAge epigenetic aging in predicting trajectories of depressive symptoms across early adolescence.

Method: Using data from the Adolescent Brain Development Study (ABCD, N = 11,875), we created polygenic scores for GrimAge, and examined whether exposure to adverse life events and parental acceptance moderated the relation between genetic risk and depressive symptom trajectories from age 10/11 to 12/13 using growth mixture modelling.

This manuscript explores the post-synthetic modification (PSM) of amine-functionalized porous coordination cages, specifically focusing on the formation of imine bonds through reactions with aldehydes. Targeting various cage topologies, including zirconium-, magnesium-, and molybdenum-based structures, we demonstrate the tunability of cage solubility and porosity through selective functionalization where the proximity of amine groups on the parent cage impacts the extent of modification. The work highlights the reversible nature of imine formation, offering potential applications in solubility switching and mixed-metal solid synthesis.

Background: Sepsis is a leading cause of hospital mortality and there is evidence that outcomes vary by patient demographics including race and gender. Our objectives were to determine whether the introduction of a standardized sepsis order set was associated with (1) changes in overall mortality or early antibiotic administration or (2) changes in outcome disparities based on race or gender.

Methods: Patients seen in the emergency department and admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis code of sepsis were identified and divided into a preintervention cohort seen during the 18 months prior to the initiation of a new sepsis order set and an intervention cohort seen during the 18 months after a quality initiative driven by introducing the order set.
