Purpose: Pelvic and hip motion are pivotal in maintaining postural control and energy efficient gait. An insight into influence of age and gender on the coupled motion of hip and pelvis in gait-cycle will guide clinical rehabilitation strategies and pertinent technology-design for specific age-groups. Therefore, present study evaluated pelvic and hip-joint gait kinematics in healthy females and males across adult-hood.

Tendon disease ranks among the leading reasons patients consult their general practitioners, comprising approximately one-third of musculoskeletal appointments. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is regarded as the gold standard for assessing tendons. Due to their short transverse relaxation time (T2), Tendons show up as a signal void in conventional MRI scans, which employ sequences with echo times (TEs) around several milliseconds.

Purpose: This study aims to explore the diagnostic utility of ultrasound B-scan while introducing the "Triangle" sign as a novel indicator. It also validates the sign's efficacy in distinguishing between choroidal detachment (CD) and suprachoroidal hemorrhage (SCH) from retinal detachment (RD) and vitreous hemorrhage (VH).

Patients And Methods: Retrospective analysis of consecutive cases of total CD and SCH undergoing B-scan at a single tertiary imaging center.

Purpose: To correlate the optical coherence tomography (OCT) based morphological patterns of diabetic macular edema (DME) and prognostic biomarkers with severity of anaemia in patients with diabetic kidney disease (DKD).

Patients And Methods: Single centre, observational cross sectional study of 42 eyes of 42 patients with DME and DKD. Eyes were divided into 2 groups: Group A (Haemoglobin level above 10 g% and group B with haemoglobin less than 10 g%).

Background: Mosquito-borne diseases have a significant public health threat worldwide, with arboviruses accounting for a high proportion of infectious diseases and mortality annually. Brazil, in particular, has been suffering outbreaks of diseases transmitted by mosquito viruses, notably those of the genus, such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya. Against this background, the São Paulo Zoo is an intriguing ecological niche to explore the virome of mosquitoes, potentially shedding light on the dynamics of arbovirus transmission within a confined setting.

Triazole, a nitrogen-containing five-membered heterocycle with two isomeric forms, 1,2,3-triazole and 1,2,4-triazole, has proven to be a valuable component in the pharmaceutical domain. Owing to its widespread utility in drug development, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry, several synthetic methods have been explored, such as different catalytic systems, solvents, and heating methodologies in recent years. However, some methods were associated with several limitations, such as harsh reaction conditions, high temperatures, low atom economy, and long reaction times.

Water contamination is a result of the excessive use of antibiotics nowadays. Owing to this environmental toxicity, photocatalytic degradation is the primary approach to non-biological degradation for their removal. In this context, zerovalent Bi-doped g-CN/BiMoO [g-CN/Bi@BiMoO] ternary nanocomposite was prepared using the wet impregnation method.

Escalating energy demands have often ignited ground-breaking innovations in the current era of electrochemical energy storage systems. Supercapacitors (SCs) have emerged as frontrunners in this regard owing to their exclusive features such ultra-high cyclic stability, power density, and ability to be derived from sustainable sources. Despite their promising attributes, they typically fail in terms of energy density, which poses a significant hindrance to their widespread commercialization.

Benzo-fused γ-lactams are fundamental in medicinal chemistry, acting as essential elements for various therapeutic agents due to their structural adaptability and capability to enhance biological activity. In their synthesis, transition metals play a pivotal role as catalysts, offering more efficient alternatives to traditional methods by facilitating C-N bond formation through mechanisms like intramolecular coupling. Recent advances have especially spotlighted transition-metal-catalyzed C-H amination reactions for directly converting C(sp)-H to C(sp)-N bonds, streamlining the creation of these compounds.

Enthesitis related arthritis (ERA) is a specific type of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and ERA typically begins with enthesitis and peripheral arthritis in the lower extremities, progressing later in the disease to sacroiliitis and spinal involvement. The condition has a strong relationship with the HLA-B27 and primarily affects boys between the ages of 13 and 16 years. We describe an unusual presentation of ERA in a young boy with pubic pain and fever, describing its quintessential magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings.
