Our study aimed to describe the role of WASH conditions and practices as risk factors for enteric viral infections in children under 5. Literature on the risk factors associated with all-cause diarrhea masks the taxa-specific drivers of diarrhea from specific pathogens, limiting the application of relevant control strategies.

Determination of Westcott g-factors for the assay of non-1/v nuclides using k-NAA.

This study examines the impact of the Westcott g-factor on the concentration of elements like In, Ir, Re, Yb, Eu and Lu, measured using neutron capture reactions (n,γ), specifically focusing on those reactions, whose thermal neutron capture cross-sections (σ ) deviate from the conventional '1/v' behaviour. These measurements are quantified using k₀-based neutron activation analysis. The Westcott g-factor for the non-1/v nuclides was calculated using the characterized neutron temperature (T) at PFTS irradiation channel of KAMINI reactor.

However, little is known about how the brain's metabolic microenvironment and microglial intracellular metabolism orchestrate the neuroimmune response in healthy and diseased brains.

In Situ Ag-Seeded Lamellar TiC Nanosheets: An Electroactive Interface for Noninvasive Diagnosis of Oral Carcinoma via Salivary TNF-α Sensing.

In the fast-paced quest for early cancer detection, noninvasive screening techniques have emerged as game-changers, offering simple and accessible avenues for precession diagnostics. In line with this, our study highlights the potential of silver nanoparticle-decorated titanium carbide MXene nanosheets (TiC_AgNPs) as an electroactive interface for the noninvasive diagnosis of oral carcinoma based on the prevalence of the salivary biomarker, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). An in situ reduction was utilized to synthesize the TiC_AgNPs nanohybrid, wherein TiC acts as the reducing agent, and the resulting nanohybrid was subjected to various characterization techniques to examine the optical, structural, and morphological attributes.
