Human bocaviruses (HBoVs) can cause respiratory illness in young children. Although the first HBoV infection in India was reported in 2010, very little information is available about its prevalence, clinical features, or geographic distribution in this country. Herein, we report a formal C-C bond azidation and cyanation of unactivated aliphatic ketones using commercially available tosyl azide and cyanide, respectively. A visible-light-mediated organophotocatalyst enables radical azidation and cyanation of ketone-derived pro-aromatic dihydroquinazolinones (under mostly redox-neutral conditions) as supported by preliminary mechanistic studies. These metal-free and scalable protocols can be used to synthesize tertiary, secondary, and primary alkyl azides and nitriles with good functional group tolerance and postsynthetic diversification of the azide group, including bioconjugation.

Herein, we report a photocatalytic method for oxidative hydroacylation with alcohols. Under photoirradiation and a catalytic amount of TBADT, different electrophiles (azodicarboxylates, -phenylmaleimide, benzylidenemalononitrile and phenyl vinyl sulfone) underwent hydroacylation with alcohols in good yields. Cancer cell surface overexpressed αβ integrin targeting two RGDS tetrapeptide residues is tethered at the macrocycle of MIMs-peptide bioconjugate via Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry on the Wang resin, and mitochondria targeting lipophilic cationic TPP functionality is conjugated at the axle dye. Living carcinoma cell selective active targeting, subsequently cell penetration, mitochondrial imaging, including the ultrastructure of cristae, and real-time tracking of malignant mitochondria by MIMs-peptide bioconjugate (RGDS)-Mito-MIMs-TPP are established by stimulated emission depletion (STED) super-resolved fluorescence microscopy.

The topological properties of the A15-type compound TiPd reveal a complex landscape of multi-fold fermionic and bosonic states, as uncovered through calculations within the framework of density functional theory (DFT). The electronic band structure shows multi-fold degenerate crossings at the high-symmetry point R near the Fermi level, which evolves into 4-fold and 8-fold degenerate fermionic states upon the introduction of spin-orbit coupling (SOC). Likewise, the phononic band structure features multi-fold degenerate bosonic crossings at the same R point.

An exceedingly porous and interwoven fibrous structure was achieved in this study by interlocking titanium carbide (TiC) MXenes onto the electrospun mats using poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) as the base polymer. The fibrous membrane was further modified with the inclusion of zinc oxide (ZnO) and tungstite (WO·HO) nano/microstructures via annealing and hydrothermal approaches. Through these strategic interfaced morphological developments in novel TiC/ZnO/WO·HO heterostructures, our findings reveal enhanced wettability and charge-segregation desirable for promoting oil-water separation and photoreactivity, respectively.
