Here, we describe a case of breast cancer that recurred 16 years after the initial treatment, with the only indication of recurrence being unusual skin and eyelid lesions.

We report a green approach to prepare carbon dots (CDs) with fresh tomatoes as carbon sources and amino acids as dopants (ACDs) by a microwave assisted method. The synthesised CDs were analysed by UV-visible absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, high resolution transmission electron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photo electron spectroscopy. Hydroxyurea (HU) is frequently used in the treatment of various myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) where it reduces cell proliferation by impairing DNA synthesis leading to decreased hematopoiesis. Herein we report a case of a 65-year-old female who was diagnosed with Chronic myeloid leukemia and developed severe hemolytic anemia requiring multiple packed red blood cell (RBC) transfusions while being treated with hydroxyurea. The haemolysis persisted until discontinuation of the drug.

Deep learning driven silicon wafer defect segmentation and classification.

Integrated Circuits are made of various transistors that are embedded on a silicon wafer, these wafers are difficult to process and hence are prone to defects. Defecting these defects manually is a time consuming and labour-intensive task and hence automation is necessary. Deep Learning approach is better suited in this case as it is able to generalize defects if trained properly and can be a solution to segmentation and classification of defects automatically.
