Spatial transcriptomics (ST) offers enormous potential to decipher the biological and pathological heterogeneity in precious archival cancer tissues. Traditionally, these tissues have rarely been used and only examined at a low throughput, most commonly by histopathological staining. ST adds thousands of times as many molecular features to histopathological images, but critical technical issues and limitations require more assessment of how ST performs on fixed archival tissues.

Seaweeds have been utilized as food, fodder, fertilizer, and medicine since ancient times; nevertheless, they have received only a little attention. In the current work, we extracted the sulfated polysaccharide from a marine source and investigated its anti-arthritic potential . The isolated and freeze-dried polysaccharide was tested for acute oral toxicity based on OECD 423.

Background: Verbal autopsy (VA) has been a crucial tool in ascertaining population-level cause of death (COD) estimates, specifically in countries where medical certification of COD is relatively limited. The World Health Organization has released an updated instrument (Verbal Autopsy Instrument 2022) that supports electronic data collection methods along with analytical software for assigning COD. This questionnaire encompasses the primary signs and symptoms associated with prevalent diseases across all age groups.

β-Addition products are common in conjugate addition reactions consisting of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds. Here, we are reporting an uncommon α-addition product as a major product in the thioacetic acid conjugate addition reaction on a peptide consisting of ()-α,β-unsaturated γ-amino acids. In addition, we observed highly diastereoselective β-addition products from the thiophenol and thioethanol conjugate addition reaction on peptides.

Objectives: Physical function in RA is largely influenced by multiple clinical factors, however, there is a growing body of evidence that psychological state and other comorbidities also play an essential role. Using data obtained in the COVID-19 Vaccination in Autoimmune Diseases study, an international self-reported e-survey, we aimed to explore the predictive ability of sociodemographic and clinical variables on Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Physical Function Short Form 10a (PROMIS PF-10a) in RA and to investigate variation in disease activity and functional outcomes based on country-level socio-economic parameters.
Methods: Patient demographics, disease characteristics including current symptom status, functional status and treatment variables, as well as income level of the country of residence, were extracted from survey responses.

This study introduces a framework that integrates AI-driven Game-Based Language Teaching (GBLT) with advanced neuroscience to transform language education for visually impaired learners. Built on the principles of neuroplasticity and epigenetics, the approach leverages educational psychology with the help of adaptive AI to deliver personalized, gamified learning experiences that reshape neural pathways, improve memory retention, and strengthen emotional resilience. By fostering low-stress, immersive environments, it triggers positive epigenetic changes, enhancing long-term cognitive flexibility.

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have increased interest in intelligent transportation systems, particularly autonomous vehicles. Safe navigation in traffic-heavy environments requires accurate road scene segmentation, yet traditional computer vision methods struggle with complex scenarios. This study emphasizes the role of deep learning in improving semantic segmentation using datasets like the Indian Driving Dataset (IDD), which presents unique challenges in chaotic road conditions.

Despite ambitions in development and global health policy to transform communities into supportive environments for women facing risks of violence, our understanding of how to best engage communities remains incomplete. In particular, there is little evidence on the types of strategies that communities employ to address violence against women (VAW). We aimed to describe and analyse the processes involved in community responses to incidents of VAW in a non-governmental organisation (NGO) violence prevention programme in Mumbai, India.

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading causes of death in the world, despite being a preventable and curable disease. Irrespective of tremendous advancements in early detection and treatment, this disease still has high mortality rates. This is due to the development of antibiotic resistance, which significantly reduced the efficacy of antibiotics, rendering them useless against this bacterial infection.

Angiosarcoma is an extremely uncommon mesenchymal neoplasm overall and moreso in female genital organs such as the ovary. Diagnosing primary ovarian angiosarcoma remains challenging on clinical grounds due to the absence of specific clinical symptoms as well as on histopathological analysis especially in poorly differentiated subtypes due to non-specific and overlapping morphologic features. Misdiagnosis in such scenarios can be devastating as this tumor is clinically very aggressive.

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus, a chronic metabolic disorder stemming from pancreatic dysfunction, is surging in India, notably among those aged 60 and above. The escalating disease prevalence in this demographic necessitates heightened medication use, escalating the risk of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs). This underscores the vital role of ADR monitoring to curtail potential harm.

In the field of clinical training, entrustable professional activities (EPAs) generally deal with those activities that health-care professionals will be encountering in their routine practice, and thus exposure to these activities prepares them for their future clinical practice. Workplace-based assessment tools have been used to assess the progress of medical students across these defined EPAs. The act of development of EPAs essentially requires the adoption of a systematic process to identify and define the core tasks and responsibilities that medical students must be able to perform independently in a specific specialty.

Intrusive luxation is one of the most severe types of dental trauma that needs immediate intervention. Various treatment modalities are passive, active, and surgical repositioning performed to prevent healing complications such as root resorption, pulp necrosis, ankylosis, and infraocclusion of the traumatized teeth. This case report discusses a patient with traumatically intruded incisors while undergoing orthodontic treatment.

Introduction: There is a scarcity of studies in which both alveolar bone remodeling and root resorption are simultaneously assessed and compared against possible influencing factors such as rate of retraction and change in inclination. The aim of our study was to assess the changes in the alveolar bone thickness and root length of the maxillary anterior teeth after retraction and correlate it to the potential influencing factors, namely rate of retraction and change in inclination.
Subjects And Methods: Ten patients requiring upper premolar extraction as part of their treatment were included in the study.

The inclusion of precision medicine in medical education represents a paradigm shift, as it is expected to transform the way in which health care will be delivered to patients in future. This shift is predominantly reported as precision medicine strongly advocates for the delivery of personalized care to patients after giving due consideration to the genetic makeup, biomarker level, etc., of the individual patient.
