Many clinicians recommend that patients diagnosed with HPV-related gynecologic cancers receive prophylactic HPV vaccination at the time of cancer diagnosis or after cancer treatment. In view of the large use of such practice, we aimed to assess the literature evidence supporting the use of prophylactic HPV vaccines after diagnosis or treatment of HPV-related gynecologic cancers. Iris Avulsion During Corneal Wound Hydration After Uneventful Cataract Extraction.

We report a case of spontaneous total iris avulsion that occurred during corneal wound hydration following an uneventful phacoemulsification procedure. An 86-year-old woman underwent cataract surgery on her right eye, during which a single-piece acrylic intraocular lens (Bausch and Lomb Akreos Adapt Advanced Optics, Bausch and Lomb Incorporated, Rochester, NY, USA) was implanted in the bag, and the viscoelastic material was removed. During corneal wound hydration, total iris avulsion was observed, with the iris prolapsing out of the anterior chamber through the main wound.

Background: Online grocery shopping is a growing source of food purchases in many countries. We investigated the effect of nudging consumers towards purchases of lower sodium products using a web browser extension.

Methods: This trial was conducted among individuals with hypertension who shopped for their groceries online in Australia.

Health-care resource use and costs associated with inflammatory bowel disease in northwest London: a retrospective linked database study.

Background: With 20-40% of patients who have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) not responding to therapy, resource use and costs can be high. We performed a descriptive analysis of health-care data for IBD management in the National Health Service to explore potential areas for improvement.

Methods: In this exploratory study, we analysed real-world data from the Discover dataset for adults with a diagnosis of incident IBD recorded in northwest London, UK, between 31 March, 2016, and 31 March, 2020.

Fatigue, pain and faecal incontinence in adult inflammatory bowel disease patients and the unmet need: a national cross-sectional survey.

Background And Aims: The co-existence of fatigue, pain and faecal incontinence in people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is unknown. We aimed to determine the presence of and relationship between these symptoms and patients' desire for intervention.

Methods: Adults with IBD in the UK, recruited from clinics, the national IBD-BioResource, a patient charity and social media sources, completed PROMIS validated patient-reported questionnaires to identify fatigue, pain and faecal incontinence, in addition to symptom severity and impact, disease activity, anxiety and depression questionnaires and questions about their desire for help with these symptoms.
