COVID-19 has significantly impacted lives, and data show that receiving a booster vaccination has been demonstrated to lower the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the severity of the risk of infection. The Saudi government has actively promoted booster dose vaccines among university students who can spread the virus to older populations, especially in high-density environments, where the risk of virus transmission and spread is elevated. This study focuses on the acceptance of COVID-19 booster shots among students at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.

The synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) green methods is advantageous due to their economic viability, reduced environmental pollution, and safety towards human health. According to our best knowledge, there is limited documented research on synthesizing AuNPs using gum Arabic (GA) and cinnamon (CNM) and studying their anticancer activities against colorectal cancer cells. This study presents a simple approach to synthesizing AuNPs using GA and CNM, characterized by advanced analytical techniques, including UV-Vis and FTIR spectroscopies, SEM, EDS, TEM, SAED, Zeta sizer, and Zeta potential.

We have designed 17 new 2-oxo-3-phenylquinoxalines the chemoselective Michael reaction of 3-phenylquinoxalin-2(1)-one with acrylic acid derivatives. The ester, ethyl 3-(2-oxo-3-phenylquinoxalin-1(2)-yl)propanoate, was reacted with hydroxylamine and hydrazine to produce -hydroxy-3-(2-oxo-3-phenylquinoxalin-1(2)-yl)propanamide and hydrazide, respectively. Further modifications were made through reactions with isothiocyanates and azide coupling with amines, yielding thiosemicarbazides and -alkyl derivatives.

Background And Aims: Healthcare students are expected to lead healthy lives yet they may engage in health risk behaviors (HRBs) like physical inactivity, poor diet, and substance use. These behaviors can have negative consequences for both the individual's health and well-being, as well as their ability to perform their future roles as healthcare providers. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of HRBs and associated factors among medical and nursing students at Lumbini Medical College, Nepal.

Introduction: Central venous access plays a crucial role in various clinical settings, and ultrasound guidance has become increasingly popular for improving its safety and success rates. The aim of this meta-analysis was to compare the short-axis (SAX) and long-axis (LAX) ultrasound-guided techniques for internal jugular vein (IJV) cannulation in terms of first needle pass success rate, number of cannulation attempts, access time, guidewire insertion time, posterior IJV wall puncture, arterial puncture, haematoma and catheter-related bloodstream infection.
Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted, and randomised controlled trials (RCTs) comparing SAX and LAX techniques for IJV cannulation on adults were included.

Futibatinib is a powerful inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor receptors that impedes its phosphorylation and subsequently leading to a reduction in in cell viability across various cell lines. Futibatinib was approved for initial use as an effective treatment for several diseases, including non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer. Herein, a novel selective fluorescence probe was created for futibatinib quantification in various matrices, including pharmaceutical formulation and human plasma.

Nepal has witnessed a significant drop in abortion-related severe complications and maternal deaths owing to the legalization of abortion laws, lowered financial costs, and wider accessibility of safe abortion services (SAS). However, various factors such as sociocultural beliefs, financial constraints, geographical difficulties, and stigma act as barriers to the liberal accessibility of SAS.

Semitransparent perovskite solar cells (STPSCs) have excellent potential for widespread application as building integrated photovoltaics. Widespread application of STPSCs could result in decreased CO footprints for buildings. Unfortunately, STPSCs tend to have poor aesthetic qualities (being usually red-brown in color) and low stability.

Breast cancer is a global health concern, with increasing disease burden and disparities in access to healthcare. Late diagnosis and limited treatment options in underserved areas contribute to poor outcomes. In response to this challenge, we developed a novel family of 2-substituted-quinoxaline analogues, combining coumarin and quinoxaline scaffolds known for their anticancer properties.

The optical features of gold nanorods (GNR) may be precisely controlled by manipulating their size, shape, and aspect ratio. This review explores the impact of these parameters on the optical tuning of (GNR). By altering the experimental conditions, like the addition of silver ions during the seed-mediated growth process, the aspect ratio of (GNR) may be regulated.

Background Preterm birth affects 10% of live births and is associated with an altered left ventricular and right ventricular phenotype and increased cardiovascular disease risk in young adulthood. Because left atrial (LA) and right atrial (RA) volume and function are known independent predictors of cardiovascular outcomes, we investigated whether these were altered in preterm-born young adults. Methods and Results Preterm-born (n=200) and term-born (n=266) adults aged 18 to 39 years underwent cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.
