Primary squamous cell carcinoma is a very rare histological entity of breast cancer. The prognosis is generally poor, and treatment is mainly based on surgery, associated with systemic therapy and radiotherapy adapted to the profile and stage of the tumor. HER2-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer: Available Treatments and Current Developments.

For several years, the overexpression of the HER2 receptor in breast cancer has been correlated with a poor prognosis and an increased risk of developing brain metastases. Renal Cell Carcinoma With Fibromyomatous Stroma: A New Case.

In the 2016 World Health Organization (WHO) classification of renal tumors, renal cell carcinoma with fibromyomatous stroma (RCC FMS) (formerly RCC with leiomyomatous or smooth muscle stroma) was classified as an emerging or provisional entity of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). We report a rare case of RCC FMS in a 62-year-old male patient with hypertension, type II diabetes mellitus, and early chronic kidney disease. He was referred to the Department of Urology for an incidental finding of a 2-cm-long left renal nodule on a routine abdominal ultrasound.

We present the case of a 61-year-old woman who presented with isolated left flank pain. Abdominal computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a 5 cm retroperitoneal soft-tissue mass that was contiguous with the left ovarian vein and connected to the proximal ureter, causing hydronephrosis.

Nevertheless, the continued pattern of increase in reported cases, due especially to community-associated strains, is a growing concern regarding the significant morbidity and mortality.

The Prevalence of Celiac Disease-Specific Auto-Antibodies in Type 1 Diabetes in a Moroccan Population.

Objective: We aimed to determine the prevalence of specific auto-antibodies to celiac disease (CD) in Moroccan type 1 diabetic (T1D) patients and compare the clinical and biological characteristics of seropositive and seronegative cases.

Patients And Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out on 276 T1D patients including 109 adults and 167 pediatric cases. The screening for CD was performed by an Elisa IgA anti-tissue transglutaminase antibody (tTGA) testing, combined with IgA quantification by nephelometry.

Atypical chronic myeloid leukemia BCR-ABL 1 negative: A case report and literature review.

Atypical chronic myeloid leukemia (aCML), negative is a rare myelodysplastic syndrome/myeloproliferative neoplasm for which no current standard of care exists. The blood smear of patients with aCML showed prominent immature granulocytosis, and granulocytic dysplasia. We admitted a 58-year-old man with splenomegaly, hyperleukocytosis, anemia, and thrombocytopenia; then cytology, cytogenetic and molecular biology analysis of bone morrow were performed and the diagnosis of aCML was made according to 2016 World Health Organization diagnostic criteria.

A rare case of successful endoscopic management of a fibroepithelial polyp with intussusception of the ureter and periodic prolapse into bladder.

Fibroepithelial polyps of the ureter are rare non-epithelial benign tumours with a slight female predominance. They are primarily located in the upper left ureter, incidentally diagnosed in patients who are evaluated for gross haematuria or renal colic. Fibroepithelial polyps are traditionally managed by open surgery with resection of the polyp and its stalk or partial resection of the ureter.

A rare case of pelviureteric junction obstruction in the uncrossed kidney of a crossed fused renal ectopia.

Crossed renal ectopia with fusion is an extremely rare congenital anomaly with few reported cases of pelviureteric junction obstruction, which often involves the crossed-over kidney. To our knowledge, we describe the second case in literature to report an uncrossed kidney with pelviureteric junction obstruction and giant hydronephrosis, which obstructs the pelviureteric junction of the crossed-over kidney. The grossly hydronephrotic kidney was found to be poorly functioning and an aberrant crossing vessel was considered to be potentially involved, raising both diagnostic and management challenges.

Background: Radiotherapy associated with chemotherapy is a well-established treatment modality for locally advanced non-small cell lung cancers. Radiation-induced second malignancies, particularly radiation-induced sarcomas, are rare.
