Synovial sarcoma is a rare tumour of head and neck. Primary synovial sarcoma of tongue is very uncommon. Based on morphology, it can be classified as classical biphasic variant, monophasic spindle cell variant, monophasic epithelial variant and poorly differentiated variant.
