Background: Sialoblastoma is an uncommon salivary gland neoplasm seen predominantly in the paediatric age group. It poses diagnostic challenges to the pathologists because of its rarity.

Endoscopic Monitoring of Treatment of Indeterminate Intestinal Lesions in a Prospective "Real-Life" Cohort in Eastern India Where Tuberculosis Remains Endemic: Distinguishing Intestinal Tuberculosis From Crohn's Disease.

Introduction It is sometimes difficult to differentiate between intestinal tuberculosis (ITB) and Crohn's disease (CD) in India, as both conditions may mimic each other. The aim was to differentiate ITB from CD in indeterminate intestinal lesions with a therapeutic trial of anti-tubercular therapy (ATT) and follow-up to find out the clinical, endoscopic, radiological, and histological predictors for differentiation between ITB and CD. Methods A prospective observational cohort study of patients diagnosed with ITB and CD according to the Asia-Pacific Guidelines in a "real-life" clinical setting was conducted.

Background: Post Kala-azar Dermal Leishmaniasis (PKDL) is a dermal sequel of visceral leishmaniasis (VL), poses a significant threat to the success of ongoing kala-azar elimination program, due to its potential role in sustaining transmission cycles and complicating disease management strategies. In VL, neutrophils have been identified as the 'first line of defence', having multiple roles in disease pathogenesis, but their role in PKDL, if any, still remains elusive; presenting a critical gap in knowledge, and was the aim of this study.

Objectives: Drug-drug interactions (DDIs) are a common problem in pharmacotherapy, particularly in situations where multiple disorders must be treated at the same time. We conducted a drug use survey in the general medicine outpatient department of a tertiary care hospital with the objective of assessing the potential for DDI in individual prescriptions for adult patients.

Materials And Methods: Drugs prescribed in the current physician-patient encounter were considered in conjunction with medicines already being received by the patient as well as those discontinued in the past 1 month.
