Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive and deadly forms of cancer, posing significant challenges for the medical community. This review focuses on key aspects of Glioblastoma, including its genetic differences between primary and secondary types. Temozolomide is a major first-line treatment for Glioblastoma, and this article explores its development, how it works, and the issue of resistance that limits its effectiveness, prompting the need for new treatment strategies.

Introduction: To evaluate the effect of orthodontic retraction force on thick and thin gingival biotypes of anterior teeth having grade I and II gingival recession with D1 and D2 alveolar bone densities by assessing the displacement of teeth and deformation in gingival tissue, along with evaluating the amount of equivalent stress on teeth and gingiva in finite element model.
Materials And Method: Based on cone-beam computed tomography datasets, eight models (LC01-LC08) of maxilla with appliance assembly were created. A retraction load of 150 gm was applied on each model during the finite element analysis (FEA), and then values of teeth displacement, gingival deformation, and von Mises stress were evaluated.

Introduction: Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is associated with other autoimmune disorders that are characterized by presence of organ-specific autoantibodies. The present study was undertaken to assess the prevalence of organ-specific autoantibodies among newly diagnosed T1DM subjects of India and to study its relationship with glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody (GADA). We also compared the clinical and biochemical parameters in GADA-positive and -negative T1DM subjects.

Context: Hypospadias is a common urological anomaly which could be surgically corrected with good cosmetic results.
Aims: We aimed to detect changes in urinary flow parameters both before and after tubularised incised plate urethroplasty (TIPU) using uroflowmetry.
Settings And Design: Data collected were clinically implemented hypothesising the probability of urethrocutaneous fistula following stricture with Qmax variation.
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD) is a genetically predisposed form of cardiomyopathy that mainly affects young individuals resulting in fatal ventricular arrhythmias leading to sudden cardiac death. ARVD has 50% of cases that involve both the right ventricle (RV) and left ventricle (LV), but only a small number of cases involve an isolated left ventricle. In this case series, five patients (four males and one female) with a diagnosis of ARVD presented to our center with varied clinical presentations across a wide range of age groups.

Methods Forty-six eligible patients with intertrochanteric fractures operated with the standard proximal femoral nail (PFN) or proximal femoral nail anti-rotation (PFNA2) were included for analysis. This was a retrospective analysis of prospectively collected data over the study period.

Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome (ARS) is an autosomal dominant syndrome with a prevalence estimated at 1:50000 to 1:100000 in newborns. It is mainly characterized by ocular, craniofacial, and dental abnormalities. From the pediatric dentist's point of view, early diagnosis of the syndrome from the ocular, craniofacial, and dental manifestation can prevent further abnormalities and ocular complications such as glaucoma.

Background: Positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) improves oxygenation and can prevent ventilator- induced lung injury in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Nevertheless, PEEP can also induce detrimental effects by its influence on the cardiovascular system. The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of PEEP on gastric mucosal perfusion while applying a protective ventilatory strategy in patients with ARDS.
