The aim of this work was to examine the content of aryl hydrocarbon receptor interacting protein (AIP) in fibroblasts of human dermis from 20 weeks of pregnancy until 85 years old, and defining of a role of AIP in age-dependent changes in the number of fibroblasts in the dermis. AIP, proliferating cells nuclear antigen (PCNA) were detected with indirect immunohistochemical technique. Results showed that a portion of fibroblasts with positive staining for AIP in the dermis is gradually increased from 20 weeks of pregnancy until 85 years old.

The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of , , , , and genes polymorphisms among residents of the Volga region (Chuvash and Mari) and northern Caucasus (Kabardins and Ossetians). The study involved 845 apparently healthy volunteers of both sexes of the four different ethnic groups living in the Russian Federation: 238 from the Chuvash ethnic group, 206 Mari, 157 Kabardins and 244 Ossetians. Significant differences were identified in allele frequency of , , , , and genes polymorphisms between the Chuvash and Kabardins, Chuvash and Ossetians, Mari and Kabardians, Mari and Ossetians.

The aim of this work was to examine the content of heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) in fibroblasts of human dermis from the development until deep aging (from 20 weeks of pregnancy until 85 years old), and defining of a role of HSP90 in age-dependent changes in the number of fibroblasts in the dermis. HSP90, proliferating cells nuclear antigen (PCNA) were detected with indirect immunohistochemical technique. Results showed that a portion of fibroblasts with positive staining for HSP90 in the dermis is not changed from 20 weeks of development to 20 years old.

Serotonin-containing cytostructures of mouse bone marrow after autotransplantation were studied using Falk-Hillarp luminescent histochemical method, and expression of antiapoptotic marker was determined by the immunohistochemical reaction. Autotransplantation of the bone marrow in mice led to an increase in the number of mast cells; in 40 and 120 min after autotransplantation, serotonin content in mast cells increased by 12 and 23%, respectively, and in hemopoietic cells of the bone marrow - by 24 and 78%, respectively, which affected the early stages of proliferation and differentiation of hemopoietic cells. The mitotic index in bone marrow smears at these terms increased by 3.

We studied the intensity of age-specific changes in the dermis (number and proliferative activity of fibroblasts) in mice with normal and experimentally changed level of thyroid hormones. Receptors of thyroid hormones, TR-α and TR-β, in mouse dermal fibroblasts were identified by immunohistochemical methods. The relative expression of Thra, Thrb, and Dio2 genes was assessed by real-time PCR analysis.

This study was aimed to investigate the prevalence of the CES1 gene (c.1168-33A > C, rs2244613) polymorphism among 12 different ethnic groups living in Russia to provide a basis for future clinical studies concerning genetic determinants of dabigatran safety. The study involved 1630 apparently healthy, unrelated, and chronic medication-free volunteers of both genders from 12 different ethnic groups in Russia: 136 Russians, 90 Avars, 50 Dargins, 46 Laks, 120 Kabardians, 112 Balkars, 244 Ossetians, 206 Mari, 204 Mordvinians, 238 Chuvashes, 114 Buryats and 70 Nanays.

Frequency indices of tubulovillous adenoma are higher than the ones of colorectal cancer, and probably, the majority of adenomas are prone to malignancy. It is often impossible to determine which adenoma tends to tumorous neoplasia. However, increase in the adenomas and expressed dysplasia contribute to adenomas malignant transformation.

The influence of bone marrow autotransplantation on neurotransmitter structures of appendix vermiformis was studied. The study revealed that an increase in the number of neurotransmitter structures (mast and granular luminescent cells), having a high content of catecholamines and serotonin was noted in old rats in 40 min after bone marrow autotransplantation. In the center of vermiformis appendix lymphoid nodes reproduction cellular programmed differentiations having a high content of neuroamines are determined.
