In the present study, a simple and rapid method for metamizole metabolite 4-methylamino antipyrine (MAA) determination in human plasma was developed, validated and successfully applied to a clinical trial. Chromatographic separation was achieved in HILIC mode on a YMC-Pack SIL column (100 × 2.0 mm; S-5 μm, 30 nm), with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile, water and formic acid.

Throughout the history of pediatric ophthalmology, pathophysiological state has always played an important role. It's characterized by reduced central vision, often paired with disruption of binocular vision, which is interpreted as amblyopia. Central vision is necessary for social integration, so its disorders cause great quality of life changes in patients limiting their professional activities and complicating everyday life.

It has been proposed that circulating HSCs play a role in graft survival after liver transplantation. The aim was to analyze the relationship between the number of HSCs before and after LDLT and liver function, immune biomarkers, and clinical outcomes in pediatric patients. We studied 15 pairs of adult healthy liver donors and pediatric recipients with ESLD.
