Reduction of fossil fuel usage, clean energy supply, and dependability are all major benefits of integrating distributed energy resources (DER) with electrical utility grid (UG). Nevertheless, there are difficulties with this integration, most notably accidental islanding that puts worker and equipment safety at risk. Islanding detection methods (IDMs) play a critical role in resolving this problem.

Point of Care Diagnostics (POCD) is quintessential in hospitals and the healthcare sector as the secants uplift the quality of medical care and the life of a patient by facilitating quick identification of the underlying pathological condition. Nanotechnology can provide opportunities and has potential in the development of new-age sensing/diagnostic tools. Owing to extraordinary features (e.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a very common disorder that affects the elderly. There are relatively few medications that can be used orally or as a suspension to treat AD. A mucoadhesive (o/w) nano emulsion of mefenamic acid was made by adding Carbopol 940P to the optimised drug nanoemulsion using distilled water as the aqueous phase (6%); Solutol HS: tween 20 (3.

As of March 31, 2021, the Coronavirus COVID-19 was affecting 219 countries and territories worldwide, with approximately 129,574,017 confirmed cases and 2,830,220 death cases. Social isolation is the most reliable way to deal with this pandemic situation. Motivated by this notion, this paper proposes a deep learning-based technique for automating the task of monitoring social distancing using surveillance cameras.

Radon (Rn) and thoron (Rn) are ubiquitous radioactive noble gases present in the earth's crust. The source term for these gases includes soil and building materials as well. The radiological impact of radon/thoron gases and their decay products on human life is a matter of concern and has been given due attention in research and policy.

It is imperative to understand the pollution of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) in different soils in order to determine the sustainable management approaches for soils. Potentially toxic elements (Fe, Mn, As, Pb, Zn, Ni, Cu, Cr, Co and Cd) were determined in agricultural, non-agricultural and industrial soils of Punjab, India. The concentration of PTEs at industrial soils were highest followed by non-agricultural and agricultural soils.

The purpose of this study is to study the effect of age on the correlation between heart rate variability (HRV) and blood pressure variability (BPV). To meet this end, multi-scale cross correlation (CC) analysis of HRV and systolic blood pressure variability (SBPV) was performed. The Approximate Entropy (ApEn) and Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA) derived indices, calculated from RR interval series (RRi) and systolic blood pressure (SBP) series at multiple temporal scales, are the basis of this CC analysis.

There are many solutions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and one of the most effective solutions is wearing a face mask. Almost everyone is wearing face masks at all times in public places during the coronavirus pandemic. This encourages us to explore face mask detection technology to monitor people wearing masks in public places.

Objective: The aim of the present work was to propose and implement deep neural network (DNN)-based handheld diagnosis system for more accurate diagnosis and severity assessment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Methods: Initially, the learning of the proposed system for ASD diagnosis was performed by implementing DNN algorithms such as a convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM), and multilayer perceptron (MLP) with DSM-V based acquired dataset. The performance of the DNN algorithms was analyzed based on parameters viz.

Purpose: The purpose of this research work was to evaluate the Pharmacokinetic (PK), Pharmacodynamic (PD), and the distribution pattern of mucoadhesive microspheres of nifedipine.

Methods: Firstly, the emulsion solvent evaporation technique was used to prepare the mucoadhesive microspheres. The microspheres were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and studies were carried on Wistar rats.

Vermicompost, recommended inorganic fertiliser, vermiwash and their combinations were used in the present study to know their impact on the germination, growth, yield, oil content and nutritional status in seeds of two varieties of Linum usitatissimum L. LC-54 and LC-2063. Eight treatments, in 48 plots with three replicates, were studied and compared with control.

This paper presents a unified approach based on the recurrence quantification analysis (RQA) and approximate entropy (ApEn) for the classification of heart rate variability (HRV). In this paper, the optimum tolerance threshold (r) corresponding to ApEn has been used for RQA calculation. The experimental data length (N) of RR interval series (RR) is optimized by taking r as key parameter.

Background: Neeri is a well-established polyherbal formulation prescribed for renal stones by the physicians but has not been experimentally evaluated for its antiurolithiatic potential using cell-lines.

Objective: This study is aimed to scientifically substantiate the antiurolithiatic effect of Neeri extract (NRE) through calcium oxalate (CaOx) crystallization inhibition, scavenging of free radicals, and protection of renal tubular epithelial NRK-52E cells from oxalate-induced injury.

Materials And Methods: The crystallization inhibition was studied by turbidimetric assay while the free radical scavenging potential was determined for superoxide and nitric oxide (NO) radicals.

In this study, extraction of polyphenols using different solvents (acetone, ethanol, methanol and water) with ultrasound and conventional method from whole mung bean (WMB), hull and cotyledon was conducted. Total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoids content (TFC), total antioxidant activities (TAA), ferric reducing power (FRP) and DPPH radical scavenging activity were determined. Ultrasound treated extracts exhibited higher TPC, TFC, TAA, FRP and DPPH in different mung bean fractions than CSE.
