Importance of these organs in animals in phylogenesis before and after the secondary palate development can explain their anatomic and functional designation.

The state of oxidative homeostasis in children with influenza stomatitis.

Objective: Introduction: The clinical course of acute respiratory viral infections was not sufficiently studied, specially the state of oxidative homeostasis in children with influenza stomatitis. This fact became the base for our study. The aim: to characterize the state of oxidative-prooxidant system as one of the factors of non-specific resistance of children` organism with influenza stomatitis.

Condition of fagocytosis of experimental animals with periodontitis due to modified reactivity.

Objective: Introduction: Taking into account the patho-immune mechanisms of formation of inflammatory process in periodontium, there is a necessity for in-depth study of the pathogenesis of periodontal diseases from the position of changes in the reactivity of the organism. The aim: Carrying out a comparative estimation of phagocytic activity of leukocytes of animals with inflammation in periodontium with altered reactivity.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Experiments were performed on 30 white rats: Group I - 10 white rats with hypoergic reaction; Group ІІ - 10 white rats with hyperergic reaction; Group III - 10 white rats with normergic reaction - control group.

The aim of our study was to investigate the peculiarities of changes in the indices of cellular and humoral immunity in the case of immobilization stress, which is implemented against the background of hypothyroidism. It was used 84 white Wistar male rats to study the peculiarities of the stress reaction against hypothyroidism. The study of cellular and humoral immunity was performed on a Beckman Coulter Epics-XL flow cytometer.

[ASSESSMENT OF COMBINED PROPHYLAXIS OF PATHOLOGICAL POSTOPERATIVE FACE SKIN SCARS ACCORDING TO THE VANCOUVER SCALE].

The aim of the research was to study the effectiveness of combined prophylaxis of pathological postoperative face skin scars according to the Vancouver scale. The research involved 29 patients, aging 16-48 years old, who underwent maxillofacial surgery by extraoral accesses with wound primary intention healing. The patients were divided into three groups: the control group, which involved the patients, who after the surgery did not undergo any preventive measures to avoid pathological skin scars development, and two study groups.

Although the overall incidence of trauma-induced crush syndrome (CS) is as low as 0.1 per 10,000 of population, which makes it one of the least common traumatic injuries, the hazard of CS lies in the high incidence of hemodynamic and metabolic complications, which call for an early diagnosis of this syndrome. This paper reports the specific features of cell death of neutrophils in rat blood as they changed with time using the model of endogenous toxemia formed in a setting of crush syndrome.

Dehydration of the organism leads to the disturbances in homeostasis and structural changes in the lungs. Inadequate rehydration can also lead to the undesirable consequences. Experiments were carried out on rats, which modeled general dehydration and its correction: with metered potable water consumption, with water consumption without restrictions and correction by using a physiological solution.

CORRECTION OF ANDROGEN DEFICIENCY IN MEN WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM.

The percentage of men with low and subnormal blood testosterone levels (less than 12 nmol/l) is increasing with age. The injection form of testosterone undecanoate (TU) represents the first long-acting injectable testosterone medication with a satisfactory safety profile, which is administered 4 times a year, does not lead to supraphysiological increases in testosterone blood levels, with the achievement of its stable levels. The aim is to investigate the effectiveness of therapy with testosterone undecanoate in patients with hypothyroidism and androgen deficiency.

Introduction: Lyme borreliosis/Lyme disease is caused by and is one of the most common vector-borne diseases transmitted by ticks.

Material And Methods: A total of 136 ticks, collected in the Ternopil (Ukraine) region, including 126 adults (70 females and 56 males), and 10 nymphs were examined. The identification of the species and their developmental form was based on morphological characteristics.

[THE LOCAL REGISTRY DATA ON MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION IN WOMEN: THE RISK FACTOR ANALYSIS, CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SURVIVAL].

The clinical experience implies poor prognosis in women with myocardial infarction (MI). We performed a retrospective cohort study of 1395 patients - 987 (70,75%) men and 408 (29,25%) women) aged of 64,63±11,43 years with myocardial infarction and comorbidity hospitalized between 2010-2016. This study shows an increase of mortality in women with myocardial infarction during the last 4 years from 23,1% to 34,2%.

MORBIDITY AND PREVALENCE OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES IN UKRAINE: TRENDS AND FORECASTS UNTILL 2025.

Cardiovascular diseases rank first by prevalence in Ukraine; it is this pathology that largely causes the unfavourable demographics, affecting the duration and quality of life of the population. Our objective was to study the dynamics of prevalence and morbidity for cardiovascular diseases in Ukraine by regions for the years 1996-2014, and to forecast their change by 2025. Epidemiological, demographic, and statistical methods were used in the research.

Fulminant meningococcemia in adult caucasian male.

Meningococcal infection remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. Based on the sequence of pathophysiological mechanisms and the agent and host factors, a wide spectrum of presentations may be seen. Here we report a non-fatal case of fulminant form of meningococcemia beginning as food poisoning complicated with shock I degree due to partially adrenal hemorrhage in Caucasian adult male.

HISTOLOGICAL CHANGES IN SPLEEN UNDER CONDITIONS OF TOXIC CARCINOGENESIS.

Under development of dimethylhydrazine-induced adenocarcinomatosis of the large intestine in white outbred male rats morphological changes of the structural components of the spleen were studied. It was found, that the progression of experimental carcinogenesis is accompanied by severe violations of the morphological state of all structural components of the spleen, manifested by destructively degenerative changes of the stroma, red and white pulp and significant vascular disorders. The severity of the pathomorphological changes in the spleen increases directly proportionally to the increase of the duration of the oncogenic factor impact.

Aim - to analyze the state of colonization resistance of the mucosa, microbiocenosis of the oral cavity, physico-chemical characteristics of the oral fluid in children with influenza stomatitis. Clinical and laboratory examination of 384 children with acute respiratory viral infections was made using clinical, microbiological, cytological methods of investigation.
