Study Objective: To determine the association of repeat polypectomy with patient and/or polyp characteristics, surgical setting, and type of hysteroscopic equipment.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study including all women who had undergone operative hysteroscopy for the removal of endometrial polyps between 1/2012-12/2022 in our division. Operative hysteroscopy with resection of endometrial polyps was performed using a bipolar loop resectoscope, miniaturized hysteroscopic instruments (bipolar needle, scissors, and graspers), or a tissue-removal device (from April 2021), with or without general anesthesia.

Background: The study aims to investigate the application of surgical vaginoscopy via a no-touch hysteroscopic approach for the management of female genital polyps. The primary objective is to assess the feasibility of this technique in treating intrauterine pathologies in both pregnant and non-pregnant women.
Methods: A total of forty-six patients diagnosed with genital polyps underwent operative vaginoscopy at a university-affiliated hospital between April 1, 2017 and May 31, 2023.

Background: Subtle uterine lesions are abnormal intracavitary conditions that, while not causing significant anatomical changes, can adversely impact fertility. Identifying these "subtle" lesions is challenging due to arbitrary interpretation, varied management strategies, unclear clinical significance, and insufficient clinician training in recognizing them. Hysteroscopy offers direct visualization and the capacity to obtain targeted biopsies, making it an invaluable tool for the diagnosis and treatment of these often overlooked conditions.

Hysteroscopy is an endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic method traditionally performed under general anesthesia but increasingly under local anesthesia. Today, it is considered the gold standard in gynecology. This minimally invasive procedure allows for a detailed assessment of the uterine cavity's interior and the removal of abnormal changes within it and is applicable to patients of all ages.

The prevalence of uterine isthmocele, also known as a uterine niche, has risen in parallel with increasing cesarean section (CS) rates, affecting approximately 60% of women depending on their history of cesarean deliveries. This condition, now categorized as cesarean scar disorder (CSD) by the "Delphi consensus," is characterized by one primary or two secondary symptoms. Diagnosis can be made through transvaginal ultrasound, sonohysterography, hysteroscopy, or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Objective: To assess and compare the clinical efficacy of scar pregnancy debridement by a combination of reversible bilateral uterine and internal iliac artery blockade with hysterolaparoscopy, as a management strategy for cesarean scar pregnancy.
Methods: This retrospective study included patients diagnosed with cesarean scar pregnancy who underwent combined surgical intervention involving hysteroscopy and laparoscopy between May 2020 and February 2024. The study population was divided into two groups based on the type of arterial blockade used: a uterine artery blockade group and an internal iliac artery blockade group.

Objective To evaluate the sterilization efficacy of hysteroscopy instruments using ultraviolet C (UV-C) light at a wavelength of 259 nm in the Endoscopic Diagnostic Center of the National Institute of Perinatology. Methods Consecutive patients undergoing office hysteroscopy via the Bettochi vaginoscopy technique were included, excluding those with conditions such as viable intrauterine pregnancy or acute pelvic infection. Samples were collected from six designated sites of the hysteroscope, including the inner sheath, internal holes of the inner sheath, lens, graspers, scissors, and outer sheath.

Purpose: In China, the majority of hysteroscopic procedures require moderate sedation and analgesia. The efficacy of intravenous lidocaine in reducing the need for sedatives and alleviating perioperative pain during hysteroscopy remains equivocal. This study aims to determine whether the intravenous administration of lidocaine can reduce the required dose of propofol and enhance perioperative pain management.

Hysteroscopic myomectomy is widely used to treat submucosal myomas. However, performing hysteroscopic surgery on certain type II (and even type III) or large myomas remains challenging. High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) has recently emerged as a promising alternative for treating various gynecologic conditions.

Objective: To determine practice patterns in the diagnosis and management of nongestational abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) in women in reproductive years during the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic in Brazil.
Materials And Methods: A web-based survey was conducted to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the diagnosis and management of women with AUB. Survey elements included treatment location, the use of ultrasonography, laboratory evaluation for iron deficiency and some hormone determinations, and endometrial evaluation by histopathology, as well as the practice of hysteroscopy, hysterectomy and medical therapy including the placement of the 52 mg levonorgestrel-intrauterine system (LNG-IUS).

Postpregnancy bleeding is common after failed pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, and postnatally after both vaginal and cesarean delivery. Pelvic ultrasound (US) is usually the initial imaging modality of choice to ascertain the cause when the bleeding is heavy or prolonged. When used in combination with Doppler studies, US can help differentiate retained products of conception (RPOC) from rarer uterine vascular malformations (UVM), including true arterial vascular malformations and areas of enhanced endometrial vascularity (EMV), which may themselves be associated with any RPOC present.

This manuscript explores the case on the occurrence of uterine artery pseudoaneurysm (UAP) during hysteroscopy endometrial polypectomy and the subsequent successful treatment uterine artery embolization (UAE). Moreover, we focus on the management and treatment options for UAP in patients of advanced maternal age. A pseudoaneurysm is an extraluminal blood collection with a disrupted flow that communicates with the parent vessel a defect in the arterial wall.

Cornual pregnancy, a rare and life-threatening form of ectopic pregnancy, poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to its deep implantation in the uterus. This report presents a case of a 31-year-old woman with a history of assisted reproductive technology (ART) and prior salpingectomy, who was diagnosed with a right cornual pregnancy following embryo transfer. The patient experienced lower abdominal pain and was found to have an enlarged uterus on ultrasonography.

Historically, blind intrauterine procedures such as dilation and curettage (D&C) and blind endometrial biopsies have been the primary approach for diagnosing and managing intrauterine pathologies. However, these techniques lack direct visualization, leading to diagnostic limitations, incomplete treatment, and increased complication rates. Despite substantial advances in hysteroscopic technology, including high-definition imaging and minimally invasive instruments, blind procedures remain widely used.

Objective: To explore the application value of 5 Fr non-contact hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of intrauterine diseases in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women.
Methods: A total of 200 perimenopausal and postmenopausal patients who were to undergo hysteroscopy for intrauterine diseases from October 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects, and the clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. According to the different treatment methods, these subjects were divided into a 5Fr non-contact hysteroscopic group (5Fr group) and a traditional hysteroscopic group (traditional group), with 100 cases in each group.
