Background: To analyze the safety and efficacy of microsurgical subinguinal varicocelectomy(MSV) performed with and without preservation of all testicular arteries and lymphatic system.
Methods: All of the 98 patients with varicocele who underwent MSV were included in the analysis. Fifty-eight male patients surgically underwent MSV with preservation of all testicular arteries and lymphatic system(Group 1).

The third-trimester ultrasound diagnosis in two fetuses with isolated testicular torsion is described. Pregnancy courses were uneventful and routine second-trimester scans had shown no structural anomalies. Antenatal ultrasound performed at 32 + 3 and 33 + 0 weeks' gestation showed signs consistent with the diagnosis of isolated left spermatic cord torsion in both cases (absent flow across the testicular artery, hyperechogenic small rounded mass in the hemiscrotum representing the twisted testes, and hydrocele).

Background: Ectopic thyroid is a rare disease, with ectopic thyroid in the porta hepatis being extremely rare. We present a rare case involving an infant with biliary atresia (BA) wherein ectopic thyroid tissue was incidentally discovered in the porta hepatis after the Kasai operation.
Case Description: A 2-month-old boy initially presented with jaundice, manifesting as yellow skin and sclera, on the first day following birth.
Despite being a common urologic disorder with potentially complicated sequela, the genetic background of adult hydrocele has not previously been described. We performed a multi-population genome-wide association study of 363,460 men in the United Kingdom BioBank and FinnGen cohorts. We identified 6,548 adult men with hydrocele.

The development of radiolabeled small-molecule prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) inhibitors has advanced molecular imaging in prostate cancer. The use of 177Lu-PSMA is especially beneficial because its therapeutic β-emission combined with γ-radiation enables precise treatment and comprehensive imaging in patients with prostate cancer. We present a case of a prostate cancer patient who developed lower extremity lymphedema and hydrocele secondary to prior radiotherapy.

Background: Chylous effusion is a rare condition characterized by the accumulation of lymphatic fluid in body cavities, often due to trauma, malignancy, or congenital lymphatic abnormalities. The association of chylous effusion with a patent processus vaginalis (PV) in pediatric patients is exceptionally uncommon, presenting unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
Objective: To report a rare case of bilateral patent processus vaginalis with chylous effusion in a pediatric patient, detailing the diagnostic process, surgical management, and outcomes, while contributing to the limited literature on this condition.

Background General practitioners (GPs) often expedite indeterminate scrotal lumps for urological evaluation. While a scrotal examination by a urologist is crucial, ultrasound (US) has become a routine component of clinical assessment regardless of the clinical examination findings and the nature of the symptoms. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of clinical examination compared to scrotal ultrasound, even when the suspicion of cancer was low.

Introduction: Among the different options for varicocele surgery, microsurgical varicocelectomy demonstrates the best results, but a relapse is subsequently detected in 1-3% of cases. It was previously believed that the cause of recurrence lies in the presence of various sources of venous outflow from the testicle, but recent studies show that the collaterals of the gonadal vein are the main reason of recurrence.
Purpose Of The Study: to determine the leading cause of recurrence, to evaluate the effectiveness and optimal surgical tactics depending on the method of primary treatment.
Objectives: To assess the effect of bilateral orchidopexy in preventing future torsion and testicular loss in patients with intermittent testicular torsion. Secondarily, this study aims to assess the rate of pain improvement following orchidopexy.
Methods: This is a prospective cohort of patients.

Background: The primary strategy for achieving the second goal of the Global Program to Eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis (GPELF) is morbidity management and disability prevention (MMDP), aimed at alleviating the suffering of affected populations. A significant challenge in many LF-endemic areas is the effective registration and identification of individuals with LF, which is crucial for planning and ensuring access to MMDP services. This study seeks to map the geographical distribution of LF-related morbidities across 24 endemic districts in Ethiopia.

Purpose: In this 10-year follow-up study, we evaluated the long-term postoperative results of single-layer modified Kugel (MK) herniorrhaphy without an onlay mesh.
Methods: Patients who underwent anterior modified Kugel herniorrhaphy without an onlay mesh between May 1, 2009, and June 31, 2012, were included in this study. The criterion for onlay mesh omission was that the posterior inguinal hernia defect did not exceed the memory recoil ring of the MK mesh.

Introduction And Importance: Canal of Nuck hydrocele is a rare condition in females. Due to mild symptoms, it may be neglected, leading to complications, including infection and bleeding. The rarity of this condition, coupled with its potential for adverse outcomes, necessitates a high index of suspicion among treating surgeons to diagnose and promptly manage the case.

Malignant mesothelioma (MM) of the tunica vaginalis is an exceedingly rare neoplasm, with fewer than 300 cases reported in the medical literature. Due to its rarity, epidemiology, and risk factors are still unclear, and it is unknown whether asbestos or chronic inflammatory conditions play a role in etiology. This case study presents a 70-year-old male patient with MM of the tunica vaginalis, detailing the diagnostic challenges, treatment procedures, and eventual progression to palliative care.

Purpose: Analyze the clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, and imaging data of testicular torsion to provide clinical insights for timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of testicular torsion.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 67 pediatric patients suspected of testicular torsion, admitted and subjected to surgical exploration from June 2018 to June 2023. Based on whether the torsed testicle was excised during surgery, the patients were divided into orchiectomy group (40 cases) and orchidopexy group (27 cases).
