Background: Primary analyses of cohort 1a of the REFINE trial showed that addition of navitoclax to ruxolitinib induced a 35% or greater reduction in spleen volume (SVR) and reduced symptoms in patients with myelofibrosis no longer benefiting from ruxolitinib. Here, we report the exploratory post-hoc biomarker analyses from cohort 1a.
Methods: REFINE is a phase 2, multicentre, open-label trial designed to assess the activity and safety of navitoclax alone or in combination with ruxolitinib in patients with primary or secondary (post-polycythaemia vera or post-essential thrombocythaemia) myelofibrosis.

Purpose: Mobile health (mHealth) resources, including apps, are emerging as resources to support children in tracking symptoms and other health-related data. The purpose of this study was to describe symptoms and daily experiences reported by elementary school-age children receiving treatment for cancer using the newly developed Color Me Healthy app.
Design And Methods: Participants in this descriptive study were children 6-12 years of age, who were receiving cancer treatment at a free-standing children's hospital in the Intermountain West of the United States.

Gross examination is the foundation for the pathologic evaluation of all surgical specimens. The rapid identification of cancers is essential for intraoperative assessment and preservation of biomolecules for molecular assays. Key components of the gross examination include the accurate identification of the lesions of interest, correlation with clinical and radiologic findings, assessment of lesion number and size, relationship to surgical margins, documenting the extent of disease spread to the skin and chest wall, and the identification of axillary lymph nodes.

Purpose: To evaluate the role and technique of a vaginal cuff brachytherapy (VB) boost to adjuvant external beam (EB) radiation for endometrial cancer through a systematic review.
Methods And Materials: Relevant trials were identified through a systematic search of the literature.
Results: A total of 21 prospective and retrospective studies which had a patient cohort undergoing EB + VB was identified to evaluate for rates of vaginal and pelvic recurrences, overall survival, and toxicity.

Introduction: Total body irradiation is an effective conditioning regimen for allogeneic stem cell transplantation in pediatric and adult patients with high risk or relapsed/refractory leukemia. The most common adverse effect is pulmonary toxicity including idiopathic pneumonia syndrome (IPS). As centers adopt more advanced treatment planning techniques for TBI, total marrow irradiation (TMI), or total marrow and lymphoid irradiation (TMLI) there is a greater need to understand treatment-related risks for IPS for patients treated with conventional TBI.

Unlabelled: Primary squamous cell carcinoma is a rare, aggressive disease with historically poor outcomes and no established treatment guidelines. Case reports are limited but describe multiple treatment approaches. Seeking to identify practice patterns and treatment outcomes, we used the US National Cancer Data Base to identify 66 males with locoregional primary squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate treated with surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiotherapy between 2004 and 2015.

Prevention of non-ventilator-acquired pneumonia requires a multimodal approach. Implementation of oral care bundles can reduce the incidence of ventilator-acquired pneumonia, but the literature on oral care in other populations is limited.

Background: End points used to determine treatment efficacy in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) have evolved over time. With multiple novel therapies in development for EoE, harmonization of outcomes measures will facilitate evidence synthesis and appraisal when comparing different treatments.
Objective: We sought to develop a core outcome set (COS) for controlled and observational studies of pharmacologic and diet interventions in adult and pediatric patients with EoE.

Introduction: Managing pathologically node positive (pN+) prostate cancer (PCa) is controversial. We describe temporal patterns and predictors of pN+ PCa in men with initially surgically managed clinically node negative (cN-) PCa.
Materials And Methods: This observational retrospective analysis of nonmetastatic, cN- PCa uses the National Cancer Database.

Objective: Survivors of ovarian cancer are at risk of developing a secondary malignancy (SM). We sought to evaluate the risk of developing SM, stratified by treatment modality.
Methods: Standardized incidence ratios (SIR, observed-to-expected [O/E] ratio) were assessed in 52,680 patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer between 1975 and 2016 in the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program.

Purpose: Patients with metastatic urothelial carcinoma (mUC) who progress on platinum-based combination chemotherapy (PLT) and checkpoint inhibitors (CPIs) have limited options that offer objective response rates (ORRs) of approximately 10% with a median overall survival (OS) of 7-8 months. Sacituzumab govitecan (SG) is a TROP-2-directed antibody-drug conjugate with an SN-38 payload that has shown preliminary activity in mUC.

Background: Cabozantinib is approved for metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) based on the METEOR and CABOSUN trials. However, real-world effectiveness and dosing patterns of cabozantinib are not well characterized.
Methods: Patients with mRCC treated with cabozantinib between 2011 and 2019 were identified and stratified using the International mRCC Database Consortium (IMDC) risk groups.

This report summarizes the current multimodality treatment approaches for children with low- and high-grade gliomas, germinoma, and nongerminomatous germ cell tumors, and craniopharyngiomas used in the Children's Oncology Group (COG) and the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP). Treatment recommendations are provided in the context of historical approaches regarding the roles of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Future research strategies for these tumors in both COG and SIOP are also discussed.

Purpose: Because of the unprecedented disruption of health care services caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) identified an urgent need to issue practice recommendations for radiation oncologists treating head and neck cancer (HNC) in a time of limited resources and heightened risk for patients and staff.
Methods And Materials: A panel of international experts from ASTRO, ESTRO, and select Asia-Pacific countries completed a modified rapid Delphi process. Topics and questions were presented to the group, and subsequent questions were developed from iterative feedback.

Objective Radiation pneumonitis (RP) is a dose-limiting toxicity that affects the treatment of lung cancer. Data on factors predictive of developing symptomatic RP after stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) are limited. We reviewed data to identify pretreatment factors predictive of the development of symptomatic RP in patients' lung cancer treated with SBRT.
