Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on the pyrolysis of dopaminergic neurons in rats with Parkinson's disease (PD), so as to explore its underlying molecular mechanism.

Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into the sham operation, model, EA, MCC950 and EA+MCC950 groups, with 12 rats in each group. The PD rat model was established by two-point injection of 6-OHDA.

In this study, quantitative models for the prediction total content of OA and UA in Chaenomelis Fructus were explored based on near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS).

Efficacy and Safety of Rezivertinib (BPI-7711) in Patients With Locally Advanced or Metastatic/Recurrent EGFR T790M-Mutated NSCLC: A Phase 2b Study.

Introduction: Rezivertinib (BPI-7711) is a novel third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) targeting both EGFR-sensitizing mutations and EGFR T790M mutation. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rezivertinib in patients with locally advanced or metastatic/recurrent EGFR T790M-mutated NSCLC.

Methods: Patients with locally advanced or metastatic/recurrent NSCLC with confirmed EGFR T790M mutation who progressed after first-/second-generation EGFR TKI therapy or primary EGFR T790M mutation were enrolled.

Clinical Efficacy of Endoscopic Infratentorial Supracerebellar Approach for Pineal Region Tumors: A Retrospective Case-Control Study.

Tumors in the pineal region are deep, with complex surrounding anatomy, adjacent to important blood vessels and nerve structures, and surgical resection is difficult and risky. In this paper, we reviewed the literature to understand the epidemiology and clinical manifestations of pineal region tumors in the country and study the clinical indications, related problems, and successful experiences of patients with pineal region tumors treated by the transtentorial-superior approach. The clinical data of 80 patients with pineal region tumors were selected as the retrospective research objects and divided into the control group and the treatment group, with 40 cases in each group, according to the random number table method.

Artificial Intelligence Algorithm-Based MRI for Differentiation Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer.

The rapid increase in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is similar to that of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients, but the treatments are quite different. In this research, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images under the weighted low-rank matrix restoration algorithm (RLRE) were utilized to differentiate PCa from BPH. The diagnostic effects of different sequences of MRI images were evaluated to provide a more effective examination method for the clinical differential diagnosis of PCa and BPH.

Insights into the Aroma Profile of Sauce-Flavor Baijiu by GC-IMS Combined with Multivariate Statistical Analysis.

Aroma is among the principal quality indicators for evaluating Baijiu. The aroma profiles of sauce-flavor Baijiu produced by 10 different manufacturers were determined by GC-IMS. The results showed that GC-IMS could effectively separate the volatile compounds in Baijiu, and a total of 80 consensus volatile compounds were rapidly detected from all samples, among which 29 volatile compounds were identified, including 5 alcohols, 14 esters, 2 acids, 2 ketones, 5 aldehydes, and 1 furan.

Expression of CD47 in Endometrial Cancer and Its Clinicopathological Significance.

Methods: Next-generation sequencing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas was analyzed with the Kaplan-Meier curve, Cox's regression model, and ROC curve. A cohort of 544 specimens, including 344 cases of endometrial cancer, 92 cases of endometrial hyperplasia (EH), and 118 cases of normal endometrium (NE), were evaluated with immunohistochemistry and analyzed with statistical methods.

Clinical study on the effect of intramedullary fixation and extramedullary fixation on unstable intertrochanteric fractures.

Background: Intertrochanteric fracture of femur is a common fracture in the elderly, and the number of intramedullary nails used to manage intertrochanteric fractures has steadily increased, but the evidence for the clinical efficacy of this practice is lacking. The present study retrospectively compared the clinical outcomes and imaging features of patients with unstable intertrochanteric hip fractures treated with traditional extramedullary hip screws (AO/OTA 31-A2) and patients with the same injury treated with newer intramedullary screws.

Bacterial community structure in acidic gruel from different regions and its influence on quality.

Acidic gruel is a popular and nutritious fermented cereal food in China. However, the relationship between microbial function and quality of traditionally-fermented acidic gruel has not been evaluated. In this study, the microbiome, sensory quality and nutritional components of 98 samples of naturally fermented acidic gruel collected from Guangxi, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing combined with various determination methods.

Determination of fungal diversity of acidic gruel by using culture-dependent and independent methods.

Traditional fermented cereals are a rich source of naturally derived, diverse microorganisms. Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing was used to investigate thoroughly fungal microflora in Western Inner Mongolian acidic gruel. A total of 589,495 sequences were obtained from 16 acidic gruel samples.

To investigate the effects of pre-B lymphocytic leukemia transcription factor (PBX1) expression on the apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) content and transcriptional activation factor 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway of lung cancer cells. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expression level of PBX1 in lung cancer tissues and adjacent tissues. The correlation between PBX1 expression level and clinical pathological parameters of patients were analyzed.

In the case of wine production, the selection of optimal pretreatment methods and starter cultures are the 2 key points before fermentation. In this research, the fresh jujube was separately underwent alcoholic fermentation at 20°C with 3 different pretreatment methods (with peel, without peel, and juice) and 5 different starter cultures, respectively. Color analysis, electronic sense analysis, bioactive compound analysis, and antioxidant activity analysis combined with multivariate statistical analysis were applied to evaluated the effects of pretreatment methods and starter cultures on the overall quality of jujube wine.
