Objectives: Behçet's syndrome (BS) is a rare disease of unknown etiology, with limited reports especially in pediatric BS. The clinical characteristics and phenotypes of pediatric BS as a highly heterogeneous variable vessel vasculitis were investigated in this study.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to compare clinical variables and descriptive characteristics of BS by age of onset and gender.

In this study, we aimed to explore the potential anti-tumor effects of Aidi injection in the treatment of neuroblastoma (NB) using network pharmacology (NP). To elucidate the anti-NB mechanism of Aidi injection, an NP-based approach and molecular docking validation were employed.

In this study, we present the synthesis of sea-urchin-like MOPs hybridised with silver oxide nanoparticles (AgO NPs) to fabricate antibacterial composites suitable for potential antibacterial coating applications. AgO NP-decorated urchin-like MOPs (AgO@UMOPs) were synthesised by employing a combination of two methods: a one-pot Lewis acid-base interaction-mediated self-assembly and a straightforward impregnation process.

Understanding the Integrated Health Management System Policy in China From Multiple Perspectives: Systematic Review and Content Analysis.

Background: The integrated health management system (IHMS), which unites all health care-related institutions under a health-centered organizational framework, is of great significance to China in promoting the hierarchical treatment system and improving the new health care reform. China's IHMS policy consists of multiple policies at different levels and at different times; however, there is a lack of comprehensive interpretation and analysis of these policies, which is not conducive to the further development of the IHMS in China.

Objective: This study aims to comprehensively analyze and understand the characteristics, development, and evolution of China's IHMS policy to inform the design and improvement of the system.

We found that ID2 expression was increased in AR-null prostate cancer. In vitro and in vivo studies confirmed that ID2 promotes PCa malignancy and can confer resistance to enzalutamide in PCa cells.

Objective: Ulcerative colitis (UC), a chronic and refractory nonspecific inflammatory bowel disease, affects millions of patients worldwide and increases the risk of colorectal cancer. Teprenone is an acylic polyisoprenoid that exerts anti-inflammatory properties in rat models of peptic ulcer disease. This and study was designed to investigate the effects of teprenone on UC and to explore the underlying mechanisms.

Flap endonuclease 1 (FEN1) is a structure-specific nuclease that is involved in the occurrence and development of various types of tumors. Previous studies have shown that FEN1 plays an important role in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma, however, the molecular mechanisms remain fully elucidated, especially its effect on the cell cycle of hepatocellular carcinoma has not been investigated. In this study, via bioinformatics prediction and clinical specimen verification, we confirmed that FEN1 was highly expressed in HCC and correlated with poor prognosis.

Background And Objectives: Previous literature mostly has demonstrated the efficacy of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) combined with whole nutrition powder in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, the benefits of whey protein as an oral nutritional supplement (ONS) during PR are not clear.

Methods And Study Design: It took 12 weeks to complete the trial, we divided 90 elderly patients with stable-stage COPD into a low-intensity exercise group (n= 30, PR group), PR plus whey proteins complex group (n= 30, PRWP group), and a control group (n= 30) randomly, and assessed index such as exercise capacity, mental health status, lung function, and body composition.

Methods: In this multicenter, patient- and outcome assessor-blind, randomized controlled feeding trial, 265 Chinese adults with baseline systolic blood pressure 130 to 159 mmHg were randomly assigned into Chinese heart-healthy (CHH) diet or usual diet for a 28-d intervention after a 7-d run-in period on usual diet. Blood lipids and glucose were measured from overnight fasting blood samples before and after the intervention.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between circulating soluble Klotho concentration and all-cause mortality in individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD).

Methods: We conducted a prospective cohort study involving 2,456 participants with CKD from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) cycles spanning from 2007 to 2016. Complex sampling-weighted multivariate Cox proportional hazards models were used to estimate the association between serum Klotho level and all-cause mortality, presenting hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs).

Here, we investigated the effect of Icariside II (ICA-II) on RIF and explored the underlying mechanisms. Rats receiving 5/6 ablation and infarction (A/I) surgery were gavaged with ICA-II (5 or 10 mg/kg) for 8 weeks.

Perioperative management for elderly patients undergoing day surgery: evidence-based practice for nursing care and day surgery.

Introduction: It is necessary to explore the evidence-based practice of perioperative management of elderly patients undergoing ambulatory surgery, to optimize the clinical workflow and improve the quality of nursing care.

Methods: Based on the best evidence obtained from the previous study, the perioperative management model and examination index of elderly patients undergoing day surgery were established, and the evidence of best practice was obtained by using the evidence-based methodology. Then, we integrated evidence into clinical practice and improved the process.
