The purpose of this study is to examine the psychosocial determinants of baby boomers'-born between 1946 and 1964- intention to choose a menu item featuring plant-based meat alternatives (PBMA) when dining out. The specific objectives are as follows: 1) to identify the baby boomer generation's health-related perceptions about PBMA, and 2) to examine the factors that influence baby boomers' intention to choose a dish featuring PBMA at a restaurant. A total of 174 responses obtained using the Qualtrics panel were analyzed with content analysis and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).

The influence of distributive justice on job attitudes and life satisfaction of hotel workers.

This study uses the social exchange and spillover theories to examine the interrelationships between distributive justice, work attitudes, and life satisfaction of hotel employees in Accra, Ghana. Paper-and-pencil questionnaires were used to collect data from 321 respondents after which descriptive statistics and partial least square structural equation modelling were used to analyse the data. Distributive justice and work attitudes were positively related to the life satisfaction levels of hotel employees.

This study examined the relationships between pandemic fear, government responses, and climate change using a time-series dataset from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020. By employing an auto-regressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach, the results revealed that pandemic fear significantly impacts climate change, while government responses to COVID-19 negatively influence climate change in the long run. Climate change and government responses significantly positively affect pandemic fear in the long run.

This study evaluated the effects of sclareol (SCL) with or without caffeine (CAF) and quercetin (QUR) using in-vivo and in-silico studies. For this, 5-day-old chicks weighing between 45 and 48 g were randomly divided into five groups and treated accordingly. The chicks were monitored to compare the occurrence, latency, and duration of sleep as well as the loss and gain of righting reflex in response to SCL-10 mg/kg, CAF-10 mg/kg, and QUR-50 mg/kg using a thiopental sodium (TS)-induced sleeping model.
